When it comes to evaluating new hair care products, we look for the three S’s: soft, shiny, strong. This fragrant serum delivers all three, making it one of our new favorites. Incidentally, since we’re also suckers for that other big S, scent, we can’t get enough of the amber and vanilla notes that drift up every time we flip our hair.
It smells so much better than any other hair oil I've used and works just as well! Highly recommended. Wish the bottle was not glass though... Broke easily.5
I've been using this elixir for a couple of years now. Gives SO much volume and cuts blow drying time in half. Use it every single day.5
My hairstylist recommended this product but I never took the time to investigate until magically it showed up in my birchbox. I wasn't too surprised when I fell it love, because I mean really....it was fate that it landed on my doorstep right!? You don't need much and it smells great without overpowering anything else. My hair seems to enjoy it as well!
I mostly use it on my ends unless its next day curly/wavy madness, then I use it throughout to tame any flyaways. Its great stuff, and if you don't overdo it, your hair won't feel greasy or weighed down.
I use this hair oil daily to give my hair a shine and softness like no other! A little goes a long way and i have had the same bottle for the past 4-5 months. I bought a second bottle replacement already! Its a must buy if you want soft and shiny hair!5
I have used this product for about six months and I'm not sure if I received a bad batch but the oil turned into a rather foul smell. It worked beautifully before and the scent was very rich. It looks like a residue collected in the bottom of the jar and that is when it turned. Kind of bummed out by it.1
I've been using hair conditioner on and off, but birchbox sent me this and i'll never go back to any other brand again! It smells great and makes my hair look silky smooth. By far my favourite sample received ever, and planning to buy it once the sample is out. A little goes a long way!5
i just cant get enough of this product smells amazing, and feel and leaves my hair so so smooth and silky and perfect i just love it5
Pros: amazing scent, good-sized bottle.
Cons: it's difficult to handle the glass bottle when your hands are slippery from applying the serum to your hair.
True story: 1st time using the the product, I poured a bit of the serum into the palm of my hand. I then applied it to my hair and worked it over. Decided I needed a touch more so I picked the bottle back up and it slipped right out of my hands, hitting the tile floor in the bathroom and shattered instantly. Not only was it a huge mess, but it was $$ down the drain. Also, I didn't get to experience the product enough to know if I like it or not. I was too annoyed to purchase it again. :(
Make sure you have a towel handy to dry your hands when using this elixir.
I'll admit that I find the scent of this oil to be irresistible. After emptying the sample from my Birchbox, I kept the tiny bottle just to sniff the wonderful aroma occasionally. But, as Cosmetic Cop Paula Begoun says, "Fragrance isn't skin care" (or hair care, or any other kind of beauty care) - it's just olfactory pleasure. The aromatic loveliness of this oil doesn't outweigh the fact that it did nothing for my baby-fine hair except make it a little damp for awhile. It certainly didn't settle flyaways, which is what I hoped to achieve, or make it shinier (except for the temporary dampness). I can't justify buying or using it just because it smells nice, especially if something else might work better but possibly conflict with the Orofluido Elixir. If this product happens to work for your hair (or you don't mind paying for its pleasant scent), enjoy!3
This is seriously the best hair product I have ever used. My hair has never been softer or silkier since I started using it. It smells great and a little bit goes a long way5
