Some imperfections are endearing (think: Lauren Hutton's famous smile), but there are certain flaws we’d prefer to keep under wraps. Lucky for us, Paula’s Choice RESIST BHA 9 for Stubborn Imperfections tackles acne scars, rosacea, wrinkles, blemishes, and so much more.
I got this in my Jan box and let it sit on the bathroom counter for 2 months. After a friend of mine said she'd been using it for years and it was a miracle worker on her milia and explained to me what milia was. I realized that's what the little bumps were around my eyes that have bothered me about my skin forever . So tried it immediately.
After 3 days of spot-treating the milia at the corner of one eye, and a zit-sized mole-ish bump next to my eyebrow on the other (that has been there for well over a year mind you) everything is smaller, diminished, and seems to be going away. Turns out the big bump wasn't a mole as I suspected but sebaceous hyperplasia.
I have never had a product work this fast or show results this fast. Its AMAZING. I'm 48 and also experiencing acne for the first time so I'm now going to try it on that, areas of enlarged pores and my freckles/dark spots. And I am going to buy buckets of this stuff.
Note - my eyes can be sensitive to certain products. I had no problems with this.
I am extremely happy with this purchase. The formula does not over dry my skin and works wonders with all types of blemishes. I spot use it at night and by the next morning the blemish will be half to almost entirely gone. Applicator helps so that you only pump a small amount of product, which is all you need.
The texture of this is almost like a serum or an oil, which I love-it's very effective on getting rid of pimples quickly without overly drying out the skin. I really love this product!5
I have been only using Paula's Choice skin-care products for about a year and I love the results! Even though my skin looks and feels great, I still get acne due to my lovely genetics. I use this product as a spot-treatment at night on my acne. It's not too drying, but be careful with using it to often because it has a high percentage (9%) of BHA. Normally, you should regularly apply only 2% or 1% BHA to your entire face. It does slightly sting once applied, but it quickly goes away. This is probably because I have very sensitive skin and also because of the high percentage of BHA.
This product dries up my pimples very fast. Sometimes they even disappear overnight! Give it a try! Paula's Choice has a 100% satisfaction guarantee if ordered from their website.
I have rosacea and get everything from large bumps to groups of very small bumps. This product clears up my face within a few days.5
I love this stuff! I use this on pimples at night and by morning they are flat. I continue using for several days until all discoloration is gone. It really speeds up the healing process.5
It was okay but not a favorite of mine. Have pale skin2
I love Paula's Choice AHA and BHA products, and after reading the reviews for this product, I thought I was going to get something amazing. Maybe it worked a little, but I didn't notice much difference on my stubborn spots and under the skin bumps.3
I've struggled with cyctic hormonal acne for almost 10 years and have tried almost everything under the sun, including topical antibiotics. I wanted to try something that was strong, but wouldn't damage my skin or dry it out. I ordered a sample of this and it honestly is the best thing I have ever used! I use it to help fade post breakout pigmentation, on little bumps on my skin and also on live pimples and it just works so much better than anything else I've ever tried. It's pricey but totally worth it imo and i dont feel like its damaging my skin, even though its highly concentrated. I can't live without it now!5
I had some milia and other bumps and I didn't notice that this did anything at all. The serum feels oily, but glides over the skin smoothly. But was ineffective.1
