Some imperfections are endearing (think: Lauren Hutton's famous smile), but there are certain flaws we’d prefer to keep under wraps. Lucky for us, Paula’s Choice RESIST BHA 9 for Stubborn Imperfections tackles acne scars, rosacea, wrinkles, blemishes, and so much more.
I had some milia and other bumps and I didn't notice that this did anything at all. The serum feels oily, but glides over the skin smoothly. But was ineffective.1
I have veins, milia, annd blemishes I am dying to remove. I tried a peel, and it left my skin worse than before. So I tried this.... used it for about a month. Absolutely no difference of any kind. I am very disappointed, I don't think I will purchase again.1
I'm not really sure what this product is supposed to do - but it was a complete waste of money. It had no impact on any type of flaw. The product design is horrible - it squirts out too much product which goes to waste (if you use more than a tiny amount - it will just dry out your skin). Would definitely NOT recommend.1
I hate to be the negativity in a sea of positive reviews but this product didn't do anything for my skin. Super disappointed. I really thought you could be the one, BHA 9. The search for a blemish, skin tone fix continues.1
I tried this either two or three times at night. It made my face break out horribly and get nasty dry patches everywhere. It was itchy and not good at all. I had to slather on moisturizer. I have sensitive skin and I just had a bad reaction.1
Firstly, this sample vial was nearly microscopic. I've got nothing against small samples (they are only samples, after all) but this vial was so tiny it caused a great deal of surprised laughter from everyone in the room when I opened this months' box. If a product is so remarkable that the sample only contains literally a few drops, I would expect it to have some properties just short of magical. I frankly didn't notice any effect at all other than a mild burning sensation where I dabbed it on.1
I don't know if it is the product or that the sample provides too few uses to see a difference, but I did not see or feel any difference in my skin after using this.1
This product promises to...
"1. unclog pores with first use" i don't think so
"2. diminish white bumps" didn't have any to start
"3. minimize enlarged pores" no, it certainly did not
"4. refine & smooth skin's texture" no, it did not
"5. minimize sebaceous hyperplasia" didn't have this to start
"6. smooth dry, rough patches" no, it did not
"7. help balance oily skin" it dried my skin out too much
"8. fade red marks from breakouts" made my skin more red and splotchy
"9. reduce breakouts" unsure
In addition, the product felt a little sticky after application and continued to be sticky while my skin pulled too tight from dryness. *my results after 1 use
A lot of people say they got amazing results with this product, but after using this consistently for the past two weeks, I have seen NO results. I have used it as per the instructions and nothing. And I have stubborn imperfections that I'd like to get rid of, but I'll have to try something else to help me with that. It has a very sticky feel and, frankly, is unpleasant to apply.1
I tried this product and within minutes of putting a small amount on my face, it began to sting and burn. I quickly washed it off and my skin was red for a little while afterwards. If you have sensitive skin, this product may be too intense for you!1
