Some imperfections are endearing (think: Lauren Hutton's famous smile), but there are certain flaws we’d prefer to keep under wraps. Lucky for us, Paula’s Choice RESIST BHA 9 for Stubborn Imperfections tackles acne scars, rosacea, wrinkles, blemishes, and so much more.
As others have said, the size is a little small especially to see long term effects. But it did take some redness and swelling out of some bumps that I had that normally would take another day or two to see results in and I consistently put it on some of my larger pores and it seemed to help shrink them.4
Well I would be really impressed if this product does all that it claims to. I have large pores- anything that minimizes them is tops in my book. The sample size is small- so although I have tried it I can't say how effective it would be after a week or so of use. Packaging maybe needs some changing...thought it was a perfume sample and almost tossed it.
Not sure about whether or not this works for me yet...but i have super ridiculously sensitive skin and it doesn't look like its CAUSED a breakout...which is good3
I used this for 6 days on one side of my face (sounds weird, I know, but that's how I test all skin products) and didn't see any difference in my skin. Maybe it just takes longer, but the sample was too small and ran out.1
I have a history of acne and blackheads, so a miracle night serum that promises to clear it all up over night (over several nights) is exactly the kind of product I love and crave.
However, I didn't feel that it was very effective. The sample size was very small, so perhaps if I had more product to test the results would have been different. As it stands I used it every night for 5 days and say no effect. Therefore I give it a thumbs down.
...but so far, I like this product. I've been using it as a spot treatment. While I didn't get the overnight results I was hoping for, this product hasn't irritated my sensitive skin despite the high BHA concentration. I was expecting this to be more of an alcohol-based gel rather than a light oil.4
I have used this three times and really cannot see a difference. I believe the sample is to small to really give an accurate review.3
I tired this product in hopes that it would help with some problem areas. I have been using it for 5 days and have not seen much of a difference. It is also slightly oily which, if you have oily skin, is a difficult thing to use.3
I get that it's an expensive product, so you don't want to give away a lot as a sample. However, it was so small that I don't think I really got to test it out. I applied it just a couple of times to my face in my t-zone, but saw no difference in oiliness or redness. I don't have too many blemishes anymore, so I can't speak to its effectiveness on acne.2
I think this could be a great product, on the pricey side for what it is stated to do. Jury still out on what it does for sure no bad reactions to it which is very good.4
