Some imperfections are endearing (think: Lauren Hutton's famous smile), but there are certain flaws we’d prefer to keep under wraps. Lucky for us, Paula’s Choice RESIST BHA 9 for Stubborn Imperfections tackles acne scars, rosacea, wrinkles, blemishes, and so much more.
I didn't see a difference using this product at all. Kinda disappointed because I was excited about it. Sigh3
Had a bad, hormonal breakout around the time I got my september birch box and this stuff seemed to help keep it under control. The sample size was very small, which is understandable for how much this product costs for the full sized (still small) product. I was only able to use the sample maybe 3 times, so I don't know what my breakouts would have looked like had I had longer to use this product. My skin got slightly better, definitely not worse, so I would say this stuff obviously works.4
I have somewhat acne prone skin so granted I use a stronger face medication but this stuff didn't really do anything for me. In fact I think it was kind of clogging my pores. It might work better for someone who already has pretty good skin2
the sample is so small so i have not decided if this is a good product or not. would like a larger sample to try longer....3
I have very oily skin and I felt like this product made my skin feel slighly greasy. I am also not sure that I saw any improvements in my skin; however, to be fair, I only tried the sample and it only had two uses in it.3
I struggle with uneven skin tone/redness and always seem to have 2-3 pimples around my mouth or sides of my face. I have tried many acne spot treatments and all seemed to work the same (not doing too much). I have never found something that helped even out my skin tone truly either. THIS product did both!! It helped clear up pimples at a faster rate I believe and significantly evened out skin tone. I wish the sample would have been bigger, but I plan on purchasing the full size!4
I have stubborn hormonal acne so I wasn't really expecting a miracle, but this product really didn't do much for me.3
I'm with the others. I received this as a sample and it's so small I have no idea if it works or not. I like the sound of it, but....2
The sample size was so small for this product, I used it 3 times and couldn't really tell that it made any difference in any of the places I applied it. I put it on really thinly - it was hard to tell how much to use, and I was also afraid of spilling it out of the small glass tube, which didn't seem ideal for a serum. The fullsize product is priced too high for me to buy it & try more.1
I read other reviews about this before trying my sample and was pretty skeptical, but I'm seeing a lot of stress breakouts on my face these days and can't seem to stop picking at them, so anything to help reduce the time and color was worth a shot. Since I planned to only use it for spot treatment, I found it easiest to dip a q-tip into the sample container to get a pretty small amount on the cotton, and then applied it as needed. So far, I'm really impressed. A few bigger breakouts have cleared up much faster than normal, and it significantly reduced redness from an older blemish that didn't disappear so gracefully; in fact, now that spot is hardly noticeable, even without foundation. It'll be a big splurge for this sort of product if I decide to go for it, but I'm seriously considering. Seems very useful to have on hand. It did dry my skin a bit where applied, but I have very combination skin; some parts were absolutely fine, some got a little flaky. A bit of extra moisturizer in those spots seemed to take care of it for the most part.4
