We’re all about self-acceptance, but instead of just living with complexion annoyances, we’re turning to Paula’s Choice RESIST Optimal Results Hydrating Cleanser to fight back. The lightweight formula gently whisks away the day (and night), while it works over time to correct discoloration and blemishes, preserve skin’s moisture balance, and fight wrinkles.
I have yet to meet a Paula's choice product I didn't love. It's the only line that has helped both my dry skin and my tendency to break out if moisturizer comes near my face . I can't reccomend the resist line enough. I also have melasma and have seen amazing improvements in the lightening of my dark patches since using these products.5
I kept going in between cleansers that dried out my skin too much (usually foaming), and those that were less harsh didn't seem effective for cleansing and makeup removal (like Philosphy's Purity). Part of the issue is that I have combination skin, so what worked for one part of my face didn't work for another.
Paula's Choice cleanser works for both the oily and dry parts of my skin. My skin feels moisturized but CLEAN afterwards. I use it twice daily and I have been noticing fewer breakouts. This is probably my favorite product that I have ordered from BB.
Despite its rich and creamy texture, this cleanser leaves your skin feeling very clean but not dehydrated. It is a pleasure to wash my face each time I use it. After one day my skin felt more hydrated. After a week, my pores are much smaller and skin is more even-toned.5
This is the cleanser my aesthetician uses when I get facials. It's perfect for my combination skin and doesn't dry me out at all.5
I am slowly but surely switching to all Paula's Choice products. I absolutely love everything I have tried so far and this cleanser is no different. I am on Retin A and wanted a gentle/hydrating cleanser that would also take off all of my makeup but not strip my face and this is perfect. It is creamy but will not leave a film on my face it just feels clean. Highly highly recommend!5
This is more like a lotion than a cleanser but it works so well. My skin feels clean and hydrated after I use this. I love this line of products. They fight wrinkles without making you so greasy you start breaking out. I'm a huge fan!5
I've been trying gentle facial cleansers for years, and I think this is the first time my face didn't feel tight and dry after a wash.4
I've been a PC customer for years and years and have been very satisfied with her products. I'm in my late 50s and have dry, sensitive skin. The resist line is my go to. It's gentle enough to use every day but still has the AHA and retinol that fights the fine wrinkles and age discoloration. I took away a star because the resist cleanser isn't great at removing all makeup. It's a thick and creamy cleanser that doesn't lather. It's great for dry skin. Paula's Choice has an extensive line and something for every skin type.4
After seeing several reviews stating that this was the perfect product for combination skin I decided to give it a try. This product really doesn't strip skin of all oils- my cheeks are no longer painfully dry and flakey after a shower (even with moisturizer.) The downside is that I am now (three weeks into trying it) consistently getting small breakouts along my T zone.
Overall: great for dry skin, not the thing for combination skin.
Finished my Environ skin cleanser and really didn't want to spend that much for a cleanser. This one got good reviews, so thought I'd give it a try. My skin is Normal, but this cleanser made it dry, not hydrated, as its name claims. Returned it and am now using Olay Foaming Face Wash for Sensitive Skin. Oil-free, fragrance free, and makes my skin very balanced.2
