This hydrating toner is to our complexion what a date with Harry Styles is to a teenage girl—totally, unbelievably awesome. Ms. Paula’s moisturize-restoring toner, which is applied after you wash your face but before you put on moisturizer, whisks away excess oil and dirt. Beyond boosting the performance of your cleanser, the refreshing formula soothes to relieve redness and improve skin tone, smooths wrinkles, and firms skin.
I ordered this after loving the BPA sample I received in my September box. But it doesn't do anything, at least not for me.. Doesn't tone well. Definitely does not reduce oil. I've actually been breaking out a lot more since starting to use it.
It's not a toner - it's more like a milky liquid. OK, my skin doesn't feel tight afterwards, but it also doesn't feel toned.
Same goes for the cleanser I also ordered from Paula's Choice. I've given them both a month to work, and no.
Will not be ordering again from Paula's Choice.
Ordered this without trying and I was very disappointed. It was very moisturizing but I like a toner that takes away the last bit of impurities from your face after cleansing. I felt the product failed in that regard. Because I use a serum and a moisturizer, I wasn't looking for something else to moisturize my skin. This just didn't work for me.2
I purchased this toner as part of the resist anti aging line. I won't be purchasing again. This line is not good for combination skin. It left my very normal skin greasy and caused breakouts. I haven't had a single pimple in over 5 years until using this line. I saw no improvement in my fine lines or wrinkles.3
This toner is very moisturizing. Most toners irritate my skin and dry out my face. This toner is great, but I think it is causing breakouts.3
I like this toner. It's creamy and feels good on your skin. Not sure if a toner is really needed, but it cant hurt.....4
This one is a new one for me- it's got a creamy texture which is unlike toners I'm used to. Leave my face moisturized more than i've ever felt with any other toner.4
I liked this product, It feels very hidrating instead of ussing a cotton ball wich I think takes a lot of the product i just put in in my hands and apply it on my face an neck.
If you want extra cleaning you can remove the excess with he cotton ball. I do think it relieves redness howver I do not have a chronic skin condition .
I havent seen any wrinkle smothing but the hidration is definitelly a good thing of this product.
I have very sensitive skin, so I normally use toner as a cleanser, it's about the only 'cleaning' my face gets...other than a rinse in the shower. Usually my toners of the past were rather drying, but this one feels like silk in a bottle. Very soft and refreshing. It easily whisks away the dirt and grime from the day. It has also done a decent job of reducing the redness my fair skin usually shows. However, I can't say it's done much for my fine lines/wrinkles. I'd be inclined to purchase it again, if I don't find something better in a future sample pack.4
I love the quality and price of Paula's Choice products. However, I was a little surprised to discover that this product, despite being more expensive, is only 4 ounces to the usual 6.4 ounces of her other toners. While this works better than her pore reducing toner during the colder, drier months, I don't know if I'll be repurchasing it.4
Got this as a mystery box sample (Those are hit and miss, but I always grab mine anyway and sometimes you get the goods... like a deluxe sample of this!). I was so happy to try it because I've hit the age where the stupidity smoking and sun without protection in my youth is starting show up on my face! Not a real noticeable difference on the fine lines yet... but it goes on silky and doesn't get sticky at all! It also does restore the moisture in my skin and seems to be improving my skin tone... so hopefully the rest come soon!4
