Sometimes we get the urge to skip the all-important post-shower moisturizing step, but these intensely moisturizing body creams rid us of any such impulse. Each cream comes in a distinctive French-inspired fragrance and is infused with natural, nongreasy hydrators and to banish all manner of chapping and flaking.
The lotion itself is very lovely and smells heavenly, but I really don't care for exceedingly expensive lotions when other lotions work just as well for a fraction of the cost.5
I really like the scent and the lotion absorbed quickly instead of sitting on top of my skin. That said, $38 for lotion is way out of my budget.4
I was excited to try this sample, I don't use body lotions very often. I didn't love the fragrance, but I did notice that there are others, so that could change my mind about purchasing. I felt it moisturized well and that the consistency was nice. Overall, I'm iffy about spending the $38 for the full size.3
I think this is a good body lotion. Not the best that I've tried. I didn't like the scent. It's a bit hard to rub into the skin.4
This cream worked well, I just was not a fan of the smell. It wasn't overpowering or anything, just a bit different from what I usually like.3
Light scent. The lotion leaves my skin feeling silky and smooth.5
So, I'm a human. With human limbs. The packaging lists this sample as 0.25 oz, but when I opened it up, the container was half full. I can use this sample on one whole leg or half of both legs - either way, not ok. I'm not sure if Bb had anything to do with packaging, but considering the cost of the full-size, you'll probably end up with a container half full. The lotion itself is focused more on fragrance than on the composition of the lotion, which means it'll probably replace a fragrance. Overall, not worth it considering the cost and the poor consistency of the lotion.3
A previous review stated that this product smells like pencil erasers. I'd agree it does have this odd pencil shavings type smell. I got the Femme scent which smells like pencil shavings with a touch of floral. This lotion is rather thick but I still found that my knuckles and back of my hands were still slightly dry and chapped feeling. Perhaps it'd be an okay everyday use lotion, if you like the scent, but I don't think it's nearly moisturizing enough for winter. I commend this product for their cruelty-free mission which is why I gave it a 3 instead of a 2. My favorite will still be Bath and Body Works Shea Cashmere and Silk which also comes in a body butter. Besides, nearly $40 for just okay lotion is quite a bit.2
The sample size was really small though... like seriously. I can moisturize one hand with this. I guess good product though.3
I really liked this cream. It has a velvety texture and a nice smell.4
