Sometimes we get the urge to skip the all-important post-shower moisturizing step, but these intensely moisturizing body creams rid us of any such impulse. Each cream comes in a distinctive French-inspired fragrance and is infused with natural, nongreasy hydrators and to banish all manner of chapping and flaking.
Liked that this lotion was not greasy but not loving the scent. I prefer a scented lotion that lasts all day long.1
This body lotion has an amazing, light texture. It melts into your skin without leaving a greasy residue. The only thing holding me back from purchasing is the price. If the price were more like $20 per 8oz then I would consider it.4
I really liked this lotion. It left my hands very soft and the smell is so nice and subtle. I will be buying this lotion for a Christmas gift for one of my Aunts who loves a nice body lotion.5
My sample is the Terranga scent, It smells a lot like a perfume I have and it smells really good. The only problem is it doesn't really moisturize. Another thing I do like about it is that it is cruelty free!4
First, I was a little put off from the start about this product because the sample had evaporated to a pinch. So, I tried it on my hands and I didn't fall in love. It was just ok. The fragrance was a bit strong and clashed with my perfume. Just not for me.2
My hands were in desperate needs for some lotion. They were dry and cracked and red, but not anymore! The lotion worked great but i did no care for the scent. Hopefully one of the others will work well.5
The scent was OK in my opinion. The product felt sticky on my skin after I applied it. I did feel like it made my skin soft, but I did not like the stickiness factor.3
I did not like the scent, terranga, but did like the way it felt. I thought it was interesting that it needed to warm in my hand first.3
Full disclosure: when it comes to bath and body products, I'm a drugstore purchaser, and I prefer subtle or sweet scents depending on whether I'm wearing perfume. For a higher-end product that falls into this category, it really has to wow me in terms of efficacy and scent. While this is a perfectly nice product, it wasn't any more moisturizing than my drugstore purchases, and I wasn't a huge fan of the Femme scent I received. Because it's so hard to convert me away from my current products, I intentionally did not sign up for bath and body products in my BB account settings, so I think this sample was just a mismatch for me. Not sure how helpful this review is, but there you go.2
Not to diminish the otherwise excellent moisturizing properties of this product, but "Femme" smells like the cosmetics aisle at Eckerd in 1996, and pencil shavings.2
