Our nail polish inventories are already perilously overstocked (can someone say “lack of storage space?”), which is why we love this two-in-one nail enamel from Dreams. The fast-drying formula serves as both a sheer base coat and top coat, saving us precious space for past and future polish-hoarding.
I normally don't like to use 2 in 1 top/bottom coats because I feel like they don't do the job as well as the single use ones. I felt the same way with this one. It was alright, it did the job, but only so-so.3
Loved this product! The bottle is so cute and the design is awesome! The product went on well and my nails haven't chipped in over a week.5
I used this as a base and top coat on my toenails. It does exactly what it says it does. Nothing really special, but i don't think it's worth the price for something i can get at a drug store.4
This worked really well as a base coat, but as a topcoat I found it terrible. It was thin and made my Essie Marshmallow dull and lifeless. Not worth it! PS -- the packaging looked homemade...it was like a random sticker on the front of the bottle.2
This top coat is long lasting, but other than that it's just your typical top coat.3
Always looking for a base and you can use this for both really like the dry fast formula4
I love that it is double duty even though I don't usually use base coat. I also love that it doesn't have the nasty chemicals in it. Overall, it's a nice clear coat. Nothing super exciting, but it does the trick.4
I like that its a two in one combo with the base and top coat. If only it could dry a little faster.4
I am someone who paints my nails each week and it usually takes 2 or 3 days for it to start to chip or peel off. I used it as a base and top coat and my polish lasted a few days longer than it usually does. It might not sound too impressive, but it works much better than others I have tried.4
I just used this on my nails last night, and it was horrible. I was giving myself a leisurely manicure, so I think I let each coat dry at least 10 minutes. When it came time to put the top coat on, I noticed that it wasn't going on evenly, and I got these weird gloppy parts on my nails. I used it with Julep nail polish, which usually looks super glossy, but this just dulled the color. And, even though I let each coat dry for so long, I got marks all over my nails from when I went to bed. Definitely not recommended.1
