It was good, I was in need of a black eyeliner, and then my birchbox arrived and I got this and was super excited. It isn't very long lasting that's the one con, I had to reapply a couple of times.
I sharpened this and went to use it and it broke. I sharpened it again and went to use it and it broke. This continued 3 more times until I threw it in the trash.
This is a good basic to have in the bag. The subtle shimmer is really nice. Not as velvety as it advertises itself to be and kind of tugs at my eyelid when I put it on rather than gliding effortlessly. It does stay put which is a total bonus though!
I am unable to really tell a good difference between liners. I like the way it is smooth, but I don't use eyeliner enough to really tell you that it is so much better from another. It did however have a great color and was smooth.
I liked the color, but it doesn't glide on easily and mattes lashes down. I wish the texture was better
I got the Noir pencil with small flecks of gold. It is really pretty on my eye. The pencil was soft when I applied it to my eyes. I do have to sharpen the pencil often to keep the tip thin.
I absolutely love this eyeliner. The pencil is soft and easy to apply and blend, but it stays put once it sets. I have Hazel eyes and the Chocolate color works really well with my eyes as it has a little shimmer/gold in the tone.
Only down side is the softness means you have to be careful when sharpening to make sure you don't lose too much pencil. I recommend getting a good sharpener for this.
Love love loved this eyeliner. I actually bought a second one for me and another one for my mom too.
I had a hard time getting it on my lash line, especially the lower line. It just didn't want to go on. I've given up on it. I like the color of the pencil though.
I was first excited to get this in my box because when I swatched it on my hand it looked perfect, glided on smooth. But whenever I tried to apply to my lash line it would never show up, it skipped. So I sharpened it thinking it dried out. The tip broke off twice when it was sharpened. If that happens each time I sharpen then half the pencil ends up in the trash.
The only way I can get this to apply to my lash line is to put on a liquid liner first and this over the top. What's the point in that??? I must of got a bunk pencil or something cuz mine does not do what others rave about. :(
