We don’t leave the house without a pack of gum or mints stashed in our purse (because impromptu cravings can strike anytime). Now Tea Forte, known for their stylish tisanes, is introducing clever mints that have both wellness and breath-sweetening properties. All-natural and sugar-free, Minteas are infused with organic green tea, herbs, and fruit extracts to give you an instant antioxidant boost. Better yet, they freshen breath and taste delicious.
I was excited and intriqued about these mints but they were aweful. Not minty at all and I do not enjoy mojitos to I did not enjoy them.2
I was a little thrown off by a cacao mint, but they were ok. The tune was a bit difficult to manage and it would open in my purse if I didn't get it closed just right. I think it was just an off flavor for me. Maybe a different flavor would be better, but I am not a huge mint fan anyway.3
I wasn't planning on seeing mints in my box and they really weren't that great. I would never purchase them.2
After the sample of Matcha Chai flavor (which was different and intriguing), I purchased Lime Mojito thinking it would also be good. BIG mistake. I did not like the taste at all (chalky and no hint of citrus) and threw them away as I could not even give them away to anyone after they tasted them either. Probably should have checked out the return policy...1
I got the ginger pear flavor. I really like it, they are a tiny bit spicy but still good.
I'm. Not sure why they are called ginger pear though because there's no ginger in it (according to the ingredients), it says it has gizmo in it and white tea.
These mints are not your usual breath-saver. They do not have mint flavour that will burn a hole in your tongue, not are they loaded with sweetener. One little mint will make your mouth feel very neutral and refreshed. The flavour is quite pleasant, but in no way overpowering. I love the leaf-shaped tin. It takes some practise to be able to open it without spilling mints all over, but it's totally worth it. I can't wait to order my first 3-pack.5
Compared to other brands, this is already a value with the 75/pack, and 3 packs/order. I got the lime mojito flavor, and I'll try a different flavor next time I order these (not a bad flavor though). I love that these are also sugar free. Containers are also smaller than I though they would be, but that just makes it easier to take them on the go!5
The mints themselves are fantastic. I got the Matcha Chai flavor, which really means "cinnamon mint" because that's how they taste. The packaging is SUPER cute and I love the leaf design BUT, they are near to impossible to open with your hands. 9 times out of ten I have to use a fabric or even those silicone grippers that you use to open jars. I wish minteas would rethink the packaging to include a feature where if you push down on one end, the other end pops open.3
I did like having mints to keep on me during the day, but these were just okay unfortunately. I liked the cinnamon flavor the best.2
The flavor felt off, and I couldn't even finish one of the mints. Maybe it wasn't just the taste for me, but I did not enjoy.2
