Let’s get down to brass tacks: One of the most common skincare faux pas we make is not exfoliating enough. And while there’s something satisfying about a good scrub, we’re rather partial to this easy-to-use exfoliating mask. It does the grunt work for us—while we take a 20-minute breather.
I received this mask as part of the Mask Madness set. I am not sure if I just received a bad batch, but this one smells absolutely horrible! I could barely keep it on for the amount of time needed because the smell was unbearable. After the time was up I did not notice anything different about my face. It may take a couple of uses to really see the effects take place!1
This mask was initially tricky to place and had lot of moisture. After using a Dr. Jart+ mask last week I was not impressed by the set up. I left the mask on for 20 min and was mostly able to check my email and sit around without adjustments to the mask. When I took the mask off I massaged the serum in which absorbed but didn't result in soft skin. Why this mask got a such a low rating was that it made the few zits on my face stand out and itch rather than treat them.2
I received this mask in Octobers box and was drawn to it. Its very simple to use not messy and smelled good. Only thing is it made the skin under my brows peel despite that I still plan on ordering some more. It hydrated my skin and made my skin soft.3
I got this in the Mask Madness set. The mask tore easily, but worse, it left my skin feel sticky. I didn't feel that it has any exfoliating properties.
I allowed it to dry afterward. The stickiness went away, but my face did not feel clean at all. Definitely wouldn't purchase this one again.
I only got one as it was in a four pack of different masks but I thought it worked well. My face was nice and smooth afterward, the gel cool on my face. The only thing was the mask itself was a little hard to get on and was a little troublesome when positioning on my face but I got it to work.4
This exfoliating mask worked better than expected! I was a little skeptical on how a sheet mask would unclog pores and exfoliate my acne-prone skin, but it did. I left it on for the recommended 20 minutes, and my face felt warm after I took it off (a little like I had steamed my face). I massaged the leftover product into my skin, and in the morning my skin was smoother and pores smaller. The only downside was that it was a little drying.4
I bought the sampler pack of sheet masks and this is my favorite one so far. The backing on the mask really helped unfold it. Also, this is the first mask I've tried that fit my face perfectly! The mask was cooling and refreshing on a hot summer's night and didn't feel too sticky. My face really felt clean. I'm suffering through a breakout right now and although it didn't disappear, it help tone down the pain and redness. Love this mask, and I'm definitely gonna try out the other brands.5
I used this right when I had a few massive breakouts on my skin, because of the salicylic acid in it. It was difficult to apply and a little messy and after peeling it off i could still feel the serum on my face as it was slightly sticky, but I did find that the next day my acne had decreased dramatically in size and redness. I wouldn't use this mask regularly as the ingredients may be too harsh on a weekly basis, but using it when you have acne is a great idea because it really does help!5
I tried this mask yesterday. I love how moisturizing the mask is. Once I took it off, my skin looked much more hydrated and smoother.5
I thought the mask was refreshing and made my skin feel soft. It was large enough for my face and easy to unfold. There was a lot of product on the mask and it felt gelatinous, which was not appealing to me on my face. The citrus smell was enjoyable though.3
