We know that busy schedules call for simplified beauty routines, which is why we're big fans of multi-purpose beauty products like Laura Geller Beauty's Spackle Tinted Primer. Not only does this primer keep our foundation in place around the clock, but it also works as a brilliant bronzer. The lightweight formula is also oil-free, making it suitable for all skin types. It’s fair to say we're hooked.
I think I'll like this in the summer - it's a little too much color for my pale skin right now. It feels nice, though - smooth but not thick, and the shimmer is subtle enough for nighttime use, I think. I look forward to trying this again in place of my regular primer for belly dance stage makeup.4
Love the tinted color! It looked pretty dark but blended beautifully into my skin! Lightweight, doesn't look or feel as greasy as I thought- absorbed IMMEDIATELY.4
it's great for younger skin, providing a nice glow. I'm 40 and since I need foundation, this product (used as a primer) disappeared once I applied foundation- negating its function as a bronzer. It feels nice going on, it's very lightweight and soft... best for younger women. I prefer "Primed and Poreless" as a primer, it lasts longer and is more effective as a primer.4
I thought it was going to be too dark, I tried it and in fact it doesn't have any coverage! I will use it as a primer but it doesn't have any color.3
This primer was very thin and greasy on my face, I am looking for more of a mattifying base for my foundation. The primer has too much sparkle in it and left my face looking like a pearl... not in a good way!4
I really wanted to like this...I love the idea of it, the concept. But I woke up after day 2 of using this with weird, acne-like bumps on my cheeks. And I have NEVER (not even as a teenager) had acne on my cheeks! So, sorry to say, but I cannot continue to use Spackle! I had a similar issue with an Avon primer, and thus far have found only Smashbox and BareMinerals primers do not break me out.
Sorry Laura Geller!
I enjoyed the fact that the primer was thin and a small amount went a long way, but when it came to payoff I was expecting something noticeable. Aside from the visible chunks of glitter, i didn't notice a glow about me or anything.3
This was one product I didn't love. It didn't give me any color, nothing really. Maybe a bit of shimmer but no bronze color. It felt amazing on my skin though! Non-greasy, very airy and light! It felt amazing and looks promising, but it didn't give my skin-tones any color. I'm half american, half Indian and it's hard to find the perfect bronzer for me. I like the feel of this, but not the look. I do use it for a highlight though, because it gives me a slight shimmer.3
Yet another product I recevied and didn't think I was going to like, but I really like this product! The tint scared me a lot, but once it's on...it's a great base!!! Like my reviwe for the cleanser, I do liek this but I like the smashbox primer from a previous box more. Once I'm ready for new primer I will most likely get the smashbox, but this is a GREAT product!4
Love this, I have been wanting to try spackle for such a long time. The product has amazing reviews and now I can see why. The bronze is not to overwhelimg even for me as a shade 1 ultra fair skin toned person! Love it!5
