Left to their own devices, our pores border on the ginormous. And they only seem to expand as we age due to various factors, such as natural collagen loss from aging, buildup of dead skin cells, and exposure to UV rays. Luckily, dr. brandt® is helping us take preemptive measures against signs of premature aging and unchecked pore expansion. This lightweight lotion wages our complexion battles on two fronts: Not only does it minimize the appearance of pores, but the forward-thinking formula targets fine lines and dryness for good measure.
This felt like a lotion and didn't do much to mattify or keep my makeup on longer. I definitely don't think it is worth this price point and there are other drugstore primers that do much better.2
I didn't like this, but I don't have super oily skin, so perhaps it's not really made for me. It's kind of sticky, and it smells like astringent. I used it while traveling and it was fine, but I didn't feel like it was doing anything for my skin.2
I am always on the lookout for a new mattifying primer and this kept popping up in my recommendations. Unfortunately it causes a string of breakouts while keeping oil at bay, and I'd take clear shiny skin over blemished matte skin I guess. The product size is awesome for the price unfortunately now I just have more space taken up by a product that doesn't work for me.2
I was really looking forward to this lotion but it was too light weight! Since using it my skin has gotten even drier, not saying this is a cause and effect thing, many variables could have an impact, but I can't say the moisturizer is "targeting dryness" as described in the product description.3
Absolutely amazing product - I love it, I love it, I want more of it...just don't want more of the price. I have oily skin but this product was amazing 8 hours of no blotting, that's a win!4
I worried that it wouldn't last long, but I was wrong. Two to three pumps a day, and a bottle lasts a few months! Love he smell, and I think it helps my skin too. The price is a little steep.4
I like the texture of the lotion but the smell is over-powering and not very nice. Perfume doesn't cover it up so into the trash.
I'm always on the hunt for a clean feeling lightweight moisturizer and this seems to fit the bill for me right now. I can't say I know too much of a difference on my forehead, that area is always pretty rough textured with enlarged pores. But overall my skin feels great and everywhere else on my face I like it. It also absorbs fast so I can move on to the next step my skin care routine without missing a beat!4
I was surprised to find that I liked this. The name of the product should be ignored slightly. It is a good mattifying moisturizer but when you first put it on, it's a little tacky which I take advantage of in the role of a primer. Once it gets absorbed the tacky feeling goes away. Only thing stopping me from purchasing is the price. Wow.4
I received the Dr. Brandt Pores no More anti-aging mattifying lotion as a sample. I've used it twice now and might get one more use out of the sample. I have to say this lotion is pretty amazing. It moisturizes and instantly mattifys my T-zone. It's pretty incredible that one product can do both. I can't speak to the wrinkle claims since I think something like wrinkle smoothing takes weeks of use. I'm taking one star soley based on the price- ouch! I definitely love the product but will have to think hard on if I order it since it's so expensive.4
