Confession: We’ve always been a bit fascinated by chameleons and their color-changing abilities. So we’re geeking out over Dr. Brandt’s anti-aging BB cream with FLEXITONE®, an ingredient that self-adjusts to your skin tone. Unlike most creams, which need to be painstakingly matched to your skin, this balm works on a range of light to medium-dark tones, and nearly every texture and type. We’re so thrilled we might just burst out into a rendition of Karma Chameleon.
Did not like this product. The flexitone is bad advertising because it doesn't work. Went on 3 times darker than I needed for my light skin tone.1
Fair skin... not even close to matching. Also had sort of a sticky texture. Definitely will not order again and will be trying to return this item.1
I am not at all happy with this product. It does NOT match every skin tone. I have light skin and this goes on dark and stays dark and yellowish....even after shake the tube vigorously before each use.
Did not go on well made my face feel chalky and heavy. Coverage was good but made my face feel gross1
This would be great for a tanner skin tone. My next bb cream will be one that i can try on in the store first.2
This product didn't work with my skin at all. I wanted it to work, but but after I applied it, it never adjusted. Which resulted my normal skin tone being ghosted out so to speak. Even my fiance, who knows nothing really about make up, noticed it when I had the product on only one half of my face. It was definitely didn't adjust to my darker skin tone, and even if it did it was cakey and just kind of terrible. It just wasn't meant to be really, it seems to work with other people just not me I guess.2
This bb cream does offer good coverage, but like other creams, it felt very heavy on my face. It also didn't seem to adjust to my skin tone, as it appeared too pale on me. If you're looking for a bb with good coverage, though, this does the job.3
The color on this BB cream didn't seem to adjust to my skin tone. It goes on the same taupe shade that comes out of the tube. It also feels thick, and is hard to evenly distribute. I was disappointed, because I really like the dr. brandt pores no more product, and thought this would give me a little more coverage. The coverage is a little better, but the color just seems "off," and I still need to use a primer so that my skin doesn't look shiny.3
Since Birchbox was out of the BB cream I wanted to buy, I went for this one. I was really hoping this product would work out for me, but unfortunately it is not oil-free and caused me to break out within days. I would not recommend it for those of you with acne-prone skin. Also, the color is technically "self-adjusting" but I thought it was a little dark for fair skin tones. Color-wise it did look fine on my medium tone skin.3
Not sure I love this product. It's kind of thick and sticky and It doesn't blend into my skin very well like it says it's suppose to. I'm not giving up yet though. I will keep it and try it during the summer when my skin is a little darker. Hopefully it will work better then.3
