Stila has a great makeup line. I love the brushes too!! I like sets and Stila has put together a great set of brushes. I especially love the blush brush!5
Honestly, I'm not terribly impressed with these brushes. The blush brush and blending brush are great. The other few--maybe I got a bad batch, but the bristles fell out almost immediately, and the others are uneven (not in a strategic way). I won't buy again.3
I have used and cleaned these brushes multiple times and they still feel new! They are great and there is a great variety of sizes to work with in this set.5
I had very few problems with bristles falling out. This is a wonderful starter set of brushes with all the basics you would need (except for a foundation brush). On the box, it says the tiny brush is for shadow liner rather than lips.5
They get the job done. Not super high quality, you still get some hair falling out, that sort of thing. Still, good value for the cost, I'd recommend them as a starter set.4
I was looking for an upgrade to my cheaper brushes, and these were probably worth the price, although I would've appreciated slightly higher quality. I've learned that you should clean your brushes before you start to use them, and it was a good thing I did, because the blending brush and shadow brush were shedding extensively. The shadow brush in particular took a long time to stop shedding as a cleaned it. However, once they stopped shedding, the brushes were acceptably soft and effective.3
I bought these brushes to replace my old ones from Smashbox and was anything but impressed. 10-15 bristles fell off the first time I used each one and since then they continue to do just this.
If you're looking for sturdy and smooth brushes, these are anything but.
It's got great brushes, great quality for an awesome price. I really like it and its a great deal. The foundation brush isn't too big, which I like. I recommend it if you need a set of brushes for a lower price that are quality.5
I like this collection because it has just the basics (I'm a pretty "no frills" kind of makeup gal.) The blush brush gets use everyday, as does the #5 shadow brush. The rounded shape of the concealer brush is nice, and I use the little one (which I think is for lips) occasionally for my brows. My favorite part about these brushes -in addition to the handy canister- is that they don't easily hold on to color which means get rid of the excess powder after a few swipes on the back of your hand.5
These brushes are super soft and feel high quality. The big brush is nice for applying brush, while the smaller brushes are great for blending eye shadow. I use the smallest one for lining shimmery eyeshadow under my lower lashes.5
