When we wash our faces at the end of the day, we want them to be clean—like, really clean. And that doesn’t include the smudgy remains of eye makeup that are so often left behind. This micellar water removes all traces of makeup (even that stubborn waterproof mascara) while gently cleansing and toning skin with natural and nourishing ingredients. It’s time to leave your raccoon eye days behind you.
This has been my least favorite birchbox product. It does no more to remove makeup than straight water from the sink!1
This product didn't do a great job of removing makeup and left black circles under my eyes. no thanks.1
Maybe I just have heavy duty makeup, but this did not remove my makeup well AT ALL.1
I used this product for the first time while I was out of town and I really liked the small travel size. I had high hopes for this product since it was all natural however, I had a really difficult time removing my eye makeup using this product and a cotton pad. I use a pencil eye liner and it would not remove the eyeliner. I had to rub really hard to get it to remove even a little and ultimately ended up using soap and water instead of this product. I wouldn't purchase this product.1
I found this product totally incapable of removing make up. I have tried much better products.1
I generally only wear eye makeup. This smelled very nice, but it barely removed my makeup. I also mostly wear waterproof mascara and it didn't even budge with this remover.1
This product did not remove my makeup at all. Removing my makeup with this actually turned into a painful experience because of the vigorous rubbing I had to do. I looked down at my cotton round and there was barely any makeup on it... I would have gotten the same effect using water. Definitely a huge disappointment because I have heard such amazing things about the brand.1
If you enjoy your face and eyes burning from the pain of "cleansing water," then this product is for you. I have never recieved something from BirchBox that I outright threw away, until now. It did not help me remove makeup, and I had to take a shower after just to wash my face to make the burning go away. I would not recommend this product, not even to my mortal enemy.1
I love trying new makeup removers. I don't really like wearing a lot of make up, but anything to get mascara off is my friend. This product is supposed to be used though, as a whole facial cleanser. I gave it a go on my whole face and found that I really didn't like the smell--though it was slight. I didn't like replacing washing my face with this, and found it didn't remove my eye makeup as much as others have.1
I don't care about the organic part, but $28 for makeup remover seems a bit steep.
Perhaps better suited for someone who doesnt wear heavy eyeliner/mascara/foundation daily.
