We don’t know about you, but we never stop fighting the good fight against dry skin, especially come the winter months. Meet the most effective weapon in our arsenal. This dry oil hydrates parched skin and disappears in seconds without any residual stickiness or oiliness. And the scent is truly divine, with fresh notes of Moroccan and Bulgarian rose, grapefruit, vanilla, and the subtlest floral undertones.
I ordered the Caudalie Oil based on reviews. The description sounded exactly what I needed for my dry skin. However, I found the oil to not hydrate my skin very much and the smell was awful! I returned the order.1
If you love heavy florals and the sweet lingering scent of vanilla you will adore the fragrance of this product.
I've used (and still do) many products in this line, and the scents work well for me. This is unlike any other product in the Caudalie line, however, so keep that in mind--it's heavily perfumed.
In terms of hydration, it's a disappointment to me. Dry oils are nice, because they don't linger long on skin, leaving you free to dress and sit on fabric without the danger of ruining either.
But this product tends to sit on the skin and then vanish quickly. It's just not for moi.
Unfortunately, the smell of this product made me just want to plug my nose. I washed my hands a few times trying to get rid of it. So for those that like it, it will last you all day and possibly all night.1
I love this brand as many of their products have done wonders for my skin. However this particular product, although effective, has an overpowering flowery scent that gave me a migraine.1
The product doesn't add moisture like oil should it smells like old lady perfume and it made me break out in a horrible rash that stayed for several days do not use this if you have sensitive skin1
I live in California, so I definitely have a need for a good moisturizer. I'm just not a huge fan of skin oils, especially ones that are overwhelmingly pungent.1
I'm not really sure about using oils. My hair felt dry so I put some in and it did nothing but make it really greasy/oily. I had just washed it and I have very thick, curly hair so it's rare for it to appear oily. I understand it's an oil and I like how it's a dry oil and didn't feel super oily on my hands but definitely not a good product to put in hair. Really like the smell though!1
This smell is disgusting. I would never purchase it.1
I have no need for this product. I'm more worried about it leaking in my train case. I'll hand it over to a friend.1
it was ok have to try it one more time and is I like will get more1
