This little gem is a foolproof way to ensure that your undereye concealer and eyeshadows stay put from morning to night (to late late night). It comes in one surprisingly versatile shade that brightens underneath and above the eye. The lightweight formula blends in easily and won't clog the delicate skin around the eyes.
I wanted to like this primer but it just didn't do it for me. The primer itself went on a weird, pale shade that didn't look natural, even when I tried to blend it in. I will speak for its staying power, which was almost a little too good, made it hard to remove my makeup at night!2
I didn't like this. I tried it alone the first time, just to even out the red tones I get on my eyelids. It has a nice thin texture that spreads easily and dries pretty fast. My problem was that in four hours my creases looked like oil slicks. It's almost as if it melted...
With eyeshadow on it lasted maybe one or two hours longer before it started turning cakey and started to flake.
Not feelin' it.
I recieved the sample of this product and temporarily swapped it out with my regular Urban Decay primer potion. It doesn't keep my shadow from falling into the crease of my lids the way my usual primer does. However, I did like that it was a bit thinner and I was able to use it as, sort of, an under eye cover up.2
I was expecting to like this primer a lot more than I did. I will say I don't have much in the way of undereye shadows, so I was using this more to prolong eye shadow use and prevent any clumping or crease appearance. However, I found that this caused my eyeshadow to crease more, if anything.2
for me it was ok at best,im saddened this could not work for me after 3 tests to test its longevity urban decay primer potion outlasted all three times,i do however like it under my eyes and i have used it on my lips though i don't recommend if you suffer from chapped lips2
I wear eye shadow every day and for me this really didn't make any difference. My eyeshadow didn't crease very often before I tried it, so maybe that's why for me it just wouldn't be worth the money to purchase.2
It was just ok to me. I have another eyshadow primer I like much better. I didn't realize you could use it under your eyes though. I definitely need to try that!2
Applied under my eyes, it does a great job of brightening--until I look in the mirror an hour later and find that it has settled into my lines, and I now look very tired and very old. I have extremely oily eyelids, and this product did not prevent eye shadow from creasing, even shadow that Urban Decay's primer always keeps in place.2
This product was just "ok." Didn't think the primer was totally effective, but it did help somewhere. Not up to par with the usual birchbox products2
Got this because my creamier eyeshadows were migrating and clumping over the course of the day. I am not convinced this product did anything to help this problem; I was surprised because I usually find Benefit products work well. I was disappointed but it does give nice undereye eye concealing power, but I had to start using my Laura Mercier under-eye stuff with it...2
