Pulling a rabbit out of a hat or making someone disappear is impressive, but it's got nothing on this cure-all known as Egyptian Magic. This powerhouse cream, said to be derived from a formula found in ancient Egyptian tombs, can pretty much do it all. It's a face cream, an eye gel, a hair mask, a treatment for burns, and has even been known to treat psoriasis and eczema. Plus, this potent balm is made of just six ingredients, all of them completely natural (and never tested on animals).
I love that the ingredients list is basically oil and honey. It has a silky feel as well. However, it did not glide onto skin well for me and I did not feel that it significantly moisturized my skin (I tried it on my face and body). It was fine, but did not seem to be a stand out product to me.2
great all natural multipurpose product... a perfect alternative for vasoline5
It's okay, but not for the entire body. I wasn't wowed by it and honestly haven’t gone back to use it since I tested it out the first time. It is kind of greasy and it seems to be more suited to really dry places like the heels and elbows, or the nail cuticles.2
I admit I was a little creeped out about this stuff being from Egyptian tombs or whatever, however I think that is probably just a story that adds some mystique to this great little product. The consistency is a little greasy, and very much like carmex or something. I don't know about using it as a general moisturizer for everything, but I have a severe eczema patch of dry skin on my leg that eats up lotion and just a little bit of this definitely hydrated the area better than regular lotion. Might have to add a full size to my beauty collection in the future!4
this cream worked wonders on my dry skin! i was able to have soft skin after only a few uses4
With two overnight treatments, the blemishes on my face were greatly reduced.4
this feels great on my skin. very hydrating and smells nice4
I was pretty excited to try this. I've seen it in many magazines and blogs and the comments are always how amazing it is for dry, sensitive skin. I struggle with eczema so I thought this would be great. In my experience, this is basically a more expensive version of Aquaphor. Aquaphor actually works better for me than this did.1
Generally my skin gets really oily through out the day so when I first tried this product I was skeptical that it would leave my skin extra oily... But I was pleasantly surprised that the oil actually does sink in and leaves your skin moisturized but not overly oily! I wouldn't use this everyday though- it's definitely a deep moisturizer.2
I really like this cream. I am a skin care junkie. I love this stuff. I like that it helps with my dry spots instantly! I will be purchasing this. Nice product!3
