Pulling a rabbit out of a hat or making someone disappear is impressive, but it's got nothing on this cure-all known as Egyptian Magic. This powerhouse cream, said to be derived from a formula found in ancient Egyptian tombs, can pretty much do it all. It's a face cream, an eye gel, a hair mask, a treatment for burns, and has even been known to treat psoriasis and eczema. Plus, this potent balm is made of just six ingredients, all of them completely natural (and never tested on animals).
It was a good product but I already use something similar that I love.4
I think that this product would work well for very dry skin or areas that can take the thick greasy texture of this cream. But it says you can use it on your face and I know that my face would be a greasy mess if I did so. On my dry summer arms it is working well.3
I'm always a little wary of putting oils on my skin, I know it's just something that my mother passed down to me, but it stuck. Anyway, I tried this skeptically as a night cream and I love it! I wake up to smooth skin that doesn't look puffy or wrinkled and I am one super happy lady!4
i've purchased egyptian magic before and i love it as a moisturizer. i was really excited to see it in the box!5
I can't stand the size of this sample. It's impossible for me to apply it without getting it stuck in my nails.3
I got this as a sample in June. wasn't sure what to do with it until I got a rash on my arm. it was driving me crazy and everything I put on it didn't stop the itch, until I used this. I scooped out a bit and rub it on my arm. It last all day and I don't feel the itch! I then used it on a group of mesquito bits and it also took care of that itch. not sure if this is what it was intended for, but it works.5
This product definitely looks greasy and weird in the beginning, but after I put it on my skin, it feels amazing especially the next morning, my skin feels so moisturized.4
I like this product as a lip balm, but wasn't super effective for anything else. Plus the smell is a little weird.3
I received this sample in my June Birchbox and have used it mainly as a lip balm. I am very picky about lip balms and for years my favorite thing to use has been Vaseline. This will be my new go-to! The texture and staying power is very similar to what I like and there is barely any smell or taste, but I figure that the natural ingredients are probably better than using manufactured petroleum on my lips. I haven't used this much as a skin cream but I could see myself using it for cuticles or dry patches rather than as an all-over cream. Will definitely purchase a full-size when I start to run out of the sample (which may be awhile-- a little goes a long way!)5
This worked well to provide moisture, but not enough to help heal more serious skin irritations as the description stated. Did not help my eczema or bug bites.3
