Pulling a rabbit out of a hat or making someone disappear is impressive, but it's got nothing on this cure-all known as Egyptian Magic. This powerhouse cream, said to be derived from a formula found in ancient Egyptian tombs, can pretty much do it all. It's a face cream, an eye gel, a hair mask, a treatment for burns, and has even been known to treat psoriasis and eczema. Plus, this potent balm is made of just six ingredients, all of them completely natural (and never tested on animals).
I like how nourishing this product is. I have bad eczema on my fingers and when I read that it could be used to treat eczema, I tried it. I think it did help the healing process. I like that the ingredients are simple.4
I was really looking forward it trying this product.5
I was excited to try this product because I'd read up about it after seeing it would be in my BirchBox. It did not disappoint! I used it for 3 days on my dry elbows (one left alone as a control; the other with morning application of Egyptian Magic)... and they were smoother! I also used it on peeling sunburned skin, and it definitely looked better afterward. I will be buying a container this winter to get me through the season, and may get another sooner to put in my desk at work!4
I wasn't sure what to do with this product, and I read the reviews here and people seemed to use it for all sort of things. I started putting on under my eyes in the morning before I applied eye make-up, and I use it acutely for dry skin on my face. It is an amazing moisturizer, but it is very greasy and shiny, so I would only use at night or when you are going to putting make-up over it so you don't look like a greaseball. A little goes a long, long, long way.5
From what I've read this seems like an amazing product for a lot of people. But as someone suffering with adult acne I found it just made my skin look worse.1
This cream is nice not at all greasy- so far I really don't have a use for it, have put it on my cuticles3
I especially loved this product for my cuticles and rough spots (knuckles, elbows, etc.). I love the effectiveness and simplicity of this product.4
Its an okay product, i wouldn't buy it for myself or others. If it got it as a gift id use it though.2
My go to for everything is Calendula. Homemade calendula oil, salve, and cream. I won't be ditching it, but I will definitely be using this product a lot as well! This salve is so soothing. I've been using facial towels that were leaving my face and eyes stinging afterwards and I used the Egyptian Magic Skin Cream and it calmed it down instantly. Seriously amazing stuff!5
I love that this has so few ingredients and that they are all natural. It seems like it will last for a long time. I used it on my rough elbows and on some bug bites. Doesn't have much of a scent, maybe the slight scent of beeswax.4
