Pulling a rabbit out of a hat or making someone disappear is impressive, but it's got nothing on this cure-all known as Egyptian Magic. This powerhouse cream, said to be derived from a formula found in ancient Egyptian tombs, can pretty much do it all. It's a face cream, an eye gel, a hair mask, a treatment for burns, and has even been known to treat psoriasis and eczema. Plus, this potent balm is made of just six ingredients, all of them completely natural (and never tested on animals).
Truly a multiple purpose product. I use on my toddler's eczema to relieve the dryness and itching. And use it on myself every morning after my shower--I find that applying it to damp skin helps it absorb more quickly and eliminates the greasiness that I've read others describe in their reviews.5
Don't get me wrong, I honestly though this product was effective. If I needed lip balm, I could use this stuff. If I had ashy hands, I only needed a little to smear onto my palms to fix the problem. However, my problem with this product is that I can see no difference between this and just regular Vaseline. They performed the exact same way, the only difference was the ingredients of each. This product seems to use a lot more natural ingredients, but when I compared the two, they used the exact same base ingredients. Due to this, I feel this product is not really worth the money.3
I love this product! I use it as a moisturizer on my face and my hands. I also use it as a moisturizer at night and it does not make me break out even though I have very sensitive skin! It also lasts forever - I LOVE this stuff!5
Semi-solid product made from olive oil, honey, beeswax, bee pollen, royal jelly, and propolis extract. Works wonders on dry skin! Can be used all over the body for multiple reasons. Love this product and glad I discovered it on Birchbox.5
I bought this over a year ago and keep waiting to love it. I've tried it everywhere that's recommended, and honestly it ends up drying out my lips.2
It had kind of a Vaseline texture after applied to the skin. It works good, I really only used it when I had a scrape or cut. I don't normally use lotion that leaves that shiny oily look. But it worked good!3
This may feel oily at first application, but your skin will love the moisture! I use it at night, liberally...all over my body! I use it on my feet, my surgery scars, my sons eczema, my crows feet (which have gone away!!!)
Order the large size, you will use it!
I didn't like the formula it was greasy for my skin, and also for the hands it takes a while to get absorbed.2
I have been using this product for years and used to have to hunt it down at specialty shops. I was delighted to get a sample in my box so now I have a travel size and can refill it. I use it for hands and face (sometimes hair when I have nowhere to be)--Living in Minnesota we have brutal dry winters and this is the perfect salve.5
I have very oily to acneic skin so I felt that this was a little heavy for my skin type.2
