Pulling a rabbit out of a hat or making someone disappear is impressive, but it’s got nothing on this cure-all known as Egyptian Magic. This 100 percent natural cream, said to be derived from a formula found in ancient Egyptian tombs, can pretty much do it all. It’s a face cream, an eye gel, a hair masque, a treatment for burns, and has even been know to heal psoriasis and eczema. And that’s just the beginning. It’s no wonder it’s become a cult favorite among doctors and celebs alike.
Think of the richest cream you've ever tried. Then multiple that richness by a hundred, and you've got this cream. How anyone could actually put it all over their face, I'll never know, but I did find it great for little dry patches! Very unique product.4
I love all kinds of lotions but this one is a little too thick for me4
This cream/moisturizer is very thick and like jelly almost. I am surprised it didn't make my skin breakout. Good for overnights. But not for me4
I tried this on a patch of dry skin and it worked really well4
This was a fun product to try out and something I would have never stumbled in at a sephora or anywhere else. Love the product but wish there was more in my sample haha5
The feeling of this was way too oily and intense for me. Also the smell was too intense. My fiance didn't even want to sleep next to me while I had it on because he hated the scent so much :(2
Way too oily for my liking. I felt like it took FOREVER to absorb (I actually wanted to try washing it off, haha)1
I've been using this stuff for years, since after I got back from a Death Valley bike trip with bleeding chapped lips and a friend took pitty on me by recommending I pick up Egyptian Magic at Whole Foods. The chapped lips healed overnight. I definitely don't use it as a face moisturizer, but it comes in handy for burns, cuts, scrapes, calluses, dry elbows and knees, chapped lips, and even dry hair (just rub a bit on the ends, leave in for a while, and wash out). I'm happy Birchbox is sharing this with Birchboxers. USE SPARINGLY-- I think most of the negative comments are from people who used it in the same quantity as a regular moisturizer. It's not cheap, but the tub lasts forever.5
I used this on my face and it was WAY too greasy for my skin - I think it would be great for dry patches - especially hands and feet at night during the winter.2
This is an awesome cream. It's definitely moisturizing and wonderful. However, it's not a light cream, so I would apply it more as a night cream than a day cream.4
