Pulling a rabbit out of a hat or making someone disappear is impressive, but it's got nothing on this cure-all known as Egyptian Magic. This powerhouse cream, said to be derived from a formula found in ancient Egyptian tombs, can pretty much do it all. It's a face cream, an eye gel, a hair mask, a treatment for burns, and has even been known to treat psoriasis and eczema. Plus, this potent balm is made of just six ingredients, all of them completely natural (and never tested on animals).
King Tut never had it this good! I wasn't sure what to do with this stuff when I received my sample. But, I soon discovered that it's fabulous for smoothing out dry elbows, knees, heels, and other little parts that tend to get scaly. I even used it on the blisters I sometimes get on my hands from too many pull-ups at CrossFit!4
I loved that this product was all natural. I put it on my face over night and woke up to soft well hydrated skin. I dont know if I would use this every day but every once in a while, this product would be great to re hydrate. I also used it on my hands. It reminded me of burt's bees hand salve. Would recommend for dry skin spots.4
Obviously, its difficult to try this on larger parts like legs with a small trial size, but I've been using it as lip balm and for my hands and elbows. Seems ok..3
I need more of this in my life! I could not of asked for a better sample! Thanks birch box!5
This cream is great for putting on right before bed. It takes a long time to soak in, but it works wonders.4
I received a sample of this cream in my birchbox and it's amazing. I use it on cuts and burns and as a moisturizer and a lip balm. I really like that it has a short list of ingredients which are all natural.5
I've read lots of glowing reviews about this product and decided that I had to try it, so I splurged on the big 4oz jar. My first impressions were positive - it's incredibly moisturizing and I can use it on a wide array of body parts, from heels and toes (wonderful, post pedicure!), cuticles and even on those stubborn, flaky dry patches that show up a day or two after using a strong acid peel on my face.
The consistency is a lot like Vaseline - maybe even thicker - although it melts into the warmth of the skin.
There is no discernible scent which left me wishing that there was something light added - maybe honey scented to reflect some of the key ingredients? For folks who are scent-sensitive, they will appreciate the lack.
This is a product that I look forward to having as fall turns to winter and my skin needs more moisture. It's something I will use overnight. On that note, be sure that you're ready to change to a clean pillowcase after using this product on your face overnight - it WILL get on your bed linens. Although, I haven't had any issue with staining.
no scent which i prefer to a cream for my face and overall it's just okay. prefer something a little more softer, expected more than it delivered.4
I just wasn't pleased with the product. It made my skin feel greasy, and I wasn't fond of the smell. I don't think it's a horrible product, it's just not for me.2
I have really enjoyed using this over the past few weeks. The sample is the perfect size to fit in my purse and I use it as a moisturizing fix-all. After a few days of use the skin tags that form around my nails were gone. When in AC I tend to form dry patches on my elbows and ankles and this is also helping with that. I am a very happy camper with this product.5
