Dermatologists, aestheticians, and plastic surgeons use glycolic acid in high concentration, low pH chemical peels. But the skincare panacea—which boosts cell turnover, diminishes wrinkles and fine lines, and battles acne—is also available for home use (albeit in less potent doses). This exfoliating cleanser is just strong enough to dislodge dead skin cells and clean out pores, and gentle enough to use daily.
I had pretty moderate acne and some uneven skin tone in some places. This is quite effective for me. Before trying this, I haven't really found a face wash that I actually thought worked. But it does say what it claims - strong but gentle for everyday use. My skin tone is much more even and a bit lighter now. Also, my acne isn't bad now.
