Bees.. seriously?

What sort of self-respecting executive man can go to work with bees on his socks? Needless to say these were donated.

Not that nice of socks
Sampled

Thin spots started to appear after a few days of wear. Afraid it wont last too much longer. They aren't too bad for house wear and lounging. They do look awesome though.

Terrible Socks
Sampled

Terrible Fit. While walking the socks continue to slip completely off of my heal and bunch up in my shoe. This is my second pair and they both do the same thing. Bad Design.

Bombas socks

I liked getting this in my Birchbox. It was a nice change up from the things I see in the box over and over again. However, I did not think the quality of these socks was very good, especially not considering the price. They did not come up to the same height on both my ankles, a problem I haven't had with cheap department store socks.

These ridiculous socks

Have you ever thought to yourself, "Gosh, I wish my regular gym socks were also day-glo orange and prohibitively expensive?"

Well then, here are the socks for you.

I'm wearing them right now. They feel perfectly fine, about what every other gym sock you've ever worn feels like, unless you are shopping in weird areas. But also, in my case, are primarily bright orange and kind of ridiculous-looking.

Not recommended, unless you have very, very specific qualifications for what go on your feet before your sneakers go on.

I mistook the calf socks as these. The calf socks are actually right on. These are the ones that I am not remotely a fan of. I wear boots regularly, and these are not even close. Oh well. Good quality for those who like this style.

Not a fan of this type of sock

Not a bad sock, but I simply don't prefer the types of socks with tabs on the heel. I understand the point of the tab but I am fortunate enough to rarely have blister issues or socks falling down my heel issues. It's a decent sock, but not for me.

A Fine Sock - Not Extraordinary
Sampled

The Bombas crew sock is a great sock. Of particular note is the padded heel and the the elastic mid that saves you from the pesky thing slipping down and bunching up. All in all, the sock seems well made and is very comfortable. The color touches are nice as well.

Here is the thing, however. This sock is not unique to other socks that I can purchase at WalMart. And 1, Starter, and others make a sock that is very similar. I have always been on the search for the perfect sock as socks are a vital part of the wardrobe. This sock, however, does not stand out as worth $9 per pair.

HOWEVER - the thing that sets Bombas apart from the big brands is that they are giving back. Being that it is a nice sock - if you have a few extra bucks - Bombas is a good call in that your get some nice socks and help someone without socks at the same time!

It's a sock...

I was excited to receive these in my box but the moment I washed them they became old looking and tattered. They seem to be holding up but they don't look as nice as they were before I washed them.
