About a year ago, I was searching for a new concealer, and I tried this one in the lightest shade. It worked well for my skin tone and shade, and at first, it blended in perfectly, as many users have noted here. However, each time I used it, after less than 30 minutes, the pigment melted into an oil-slick patch. Very unattractive. I followed the instructions that came with it, and also watched several YouTube tutorials in order to get an idea of the best way to make it work for my skin. THEN, after just three uses, I started noticing the beginnings of huge, cystic acne under the places where I had used the concealer. I stopped using the stuff immediately, and that's when I decided to look at the ingredients for the first time. At least four (possibly five) different oils are currently in the formula! And the second ingredient on the list: lanolin! OMG, NO THANK YOU. What followed after I returned the concealer after the three uses was two months of nightly serums and daily and weekly masks. I have acne prone skin to begin with, and keeping flare-up free means walking a fine line at all times with a schedule of the above-mentioned masks, serums, and oral medication. Non-comedogenic makeup became a much, much higher priority for me after this disaster. While I know this concealer works well for lots of folks, it destroyed the fine line I have been working on for years, and it took months to recover that lost ground. I do recommend that anyone considering this product read the ingredient list. I am well aware that this is a HG product for many - it just wasn't for me.
