We're proud to flaunt some of our flaws (hello, Glee addiction!), but others are better left hidden. This concealer camouflages under eye circles, fine lines, and blemishes to liven up our entire complexion. Plus, it comes with a tiny spatula, so you never have to dip your finger into the jar.
This has everything in it that it should not for being a concealer for acne prone or sensitive skin. Wax, oil, parabens, and petroleum. Yuck!1
Yes, this concealer works well. It covers everything very quickly; however, it does not stay in place at all! I much prefer my ELF $3.00 concealer which has almost the same coverage but does not make my face look sticky and damp! Because it is so thick, even when warmed up, it does not look good. Very disappointed.1
About a year ago, I was searching for a new concealer, and I tried this one in the lightest shade. It worked well for my skin tone and shade, and at first, it blended in perfectly, as many users have noted here. However, each time I used it, after less than 30 minutes, the pigment melted into an oil-slick patch. Very unattractive. I followed the instructions that came with it, and also watched several YouTube tutorials in order to get an idea of the best way to make it work for my skin. THEN, after just three uses, I started noticing the beginnings of huge, cystic acne under the places where I had used the concealer. I stopped using the stuff immediately, and that's when I decided to look at the ingredients for the first time. At least four (possibly five) different oils are currently in the formula! And the second ingredient on the list: lanolin! OMG, NO THANK YOU. What followed after I returned the concealer after the three uses was two months of nightly serums and daily and weekly masks. I have acne prone skin to begin with, and keeping flare-up free means walking a fine line at all times with a schedule of the above-mentioned masks, serums, and oral medication. Non-comedogenic makeup became a much, much higher priority for me after this disaster. While I know this concealer works well for lots of folks, it destroyed the fine line I have been working on for years, and it took months to recover that lost ground. I do recommend that anyone considering this product read the ingredient list. I am well aware that this is a HG product for many - it just wasn't for me.1
The first time I wore this I loved it, blends perfectly and really brightened under the eye. Then after wearing it about 3 days in a row it dried out my skin REALLY bad. Was hoping to love it, but sadly will be returning it!1
I THOUGHT THIS WOULD BE PERFECT FOR MY DARK UNDEREYE CIRCLES BUT IM 40 YRS OLD & IT REALLY SETTLED IN MY FINE LINES & LOOKED POWDERY.1
I bought this product because I read so many good reviews on it. Well to me it does not work. It made my wrinkles show more and did not cover my dark circles. I really wish I would not have bought it.1
I was excited to try this so called erase paste! It doesn't cover very well. I have severe dark circles and this does not work for me!1
Honestly, I love almost everything by Benefit, but I HATE this concealer. It's unnecessarily thick and doesn't blend well at all. Looks cakey. Worst concealer I've ever used.
Received as a birthday gift. I loved benefit but this is one of the products that wasn't surprising to me. It was too creamy and with my dry skin it did not go on very well.1
I do not recommend this product. It creases very badly and seems to melt off of your face. You will feel very greasy after using this.1
