We don’t know about you, but if we had three beauty wishes, we’d go for killer cheekbones, glowing skin, and great lighting wherever we went. Since our resident genie seems to have gone missing, we rely on wonderous products instead. A perpetual award winner, Benefit’s High Beam subtly highlights and enhances your features — a necessity when you want to draw a little extra attention.
I couldn't wait to see the beautiful pinky highlighted glow on my cheekbone however I have olive skin and the High Beam doesn't show up at all. Needless to say I am disappointed.1
I could use this on my eyes to add a little sparkle and even there it doesn't really do anything. I have no other real use for it. Wrong color for my skin1
I received high beam highlighter. I have olive skin so the pink shade does not work.1
I didn't get that but I'm sure it must of been very nice I will look into the future for a sample.1
Didnt really like this product on my skin. I have pretty tan skin and i thought this would compliment well... but its almost too strong. It goes on really light and even when it is rubbed in it doesnt look natural.
I find that if you mix it with a different highlighter, or maybe a tinted primer... it tones it down.
This color is really pretty in the bottle, but too shimmery for me when on. It is also really liquidy and thin, I would have liked a thicker product with more staying power.1
As with many of Benefit's products, this one is not made for women of color. I have light skin and when I put it on it made me look completely ridiculous. I didn't buy this alone, I got it in a three pack, it came along with Benefit's Posietint and Benetint. But the High Beam was not for me.1
It looked really nice but I don't use blush or any product on my cheeks other than foundation. Might try it in the future2
I'm not sure what to do with this product. It just doesn't do anything good on my toffee complexion. It has a nice texture, would love to see a gold-hued version of this.2
I used it once and wasn't impressed. Maybe because I really do not use products like this and I am more of a simple make-up applier.2
