Call us skincare snobs, but we hold our products to a gold standard. Luckily, this pampering scrub meets our demands with none other than real 24-karat colloidal gold (which apparently does something to help stimulate cell turnover, but we just think it sounds cool). The result of using this luxe natural exfoliator is super-soft skin and, of course, bragging rights that even your beauty products are blingin’.
I was underwhelmed- nice texture and good fragrance, but I need something scrubbier- i.e., something that won't dissolve immediately and actually lets me get my exfoliation on.1
Did not like this product at all. Between the weird scent (somewhere between old, oily lipstick and sour grapefruit, yikes!) and the greasiness it left on my skin after using (I had to rinse and rinse and rinse and rinse until finally I had to lather again with my usual bodywash to get rid of the greasiness, but still no joy) this product is definitely not for me. Even after all that, my skin didn't feel the tiniest bit softer.1
It smelled good while it was in the container but once you rubbed it on your skin in the shower it had a strong mentol smell that I didn't care for. the formula felt good on my skin but I just cant get over the smell I wont be ordering this in full size.1
The fragrance was too sweet for my taste and there wasn't enough exfoliating beads in the polish.1
Had a strange, unappealing scent. Left a thick, oily residue on skin that was hard to wash off. Sugar granules dissolved so quickly it was necessary to re-apply product over same areas to thoroughly exfoliate skin.1
I felt I used to use a lot to get the result I wanted. Soap and Glory's "Scrub of your life" is much better, you need far less product. Also, I rinsed my hands and then rubbed my eyes and it burned a lot. The only good thing I suppose it my skin felt nice after.1
Way too small of a sample to even decide if I like it. Barely enough for 1 use!1
