We fell in love with Atelier Cologne’s Vanille Insensée Cologne Absolue at first sniff. Unlike most vanilla scents, this one is fresh, not sweet. Top notes of bright lime and coriander mingle with middle notes of jasmine and oak moss, while Madagascar vanilla and amber notes anchor the scent. Happily, the romantic fragrance lasts all day — we’re smitten and you will be too.
Really lovely, I keep smelling my wrist. I was afraid it would smell like a lot of other vanilla products out there, like fake baked goods. But it avoids being the typical, way over used vanilla scent you so often encounter. Love it!4
It's really nice but doesn't replace my favorite scent.4
Pleasant warm scent. Fragrance seems to last all day. It's not for me though, smells too much like a vanilla candle.4
The scent is incredible. A little goes a long way and lasts for hours and hours. The full size price is just more that I would pay for a fragrance.4
After hearing about this sample from a Birchbox friend, I was super excited. I love the sweet vanilla, a bit musky and super sexy. I like using these samples as home sprays because I can change scent in each room. My Bb friend was begging for this sample, but I just couldn't give it up!5
Lovely, sexy, scent. Would buy if it wasn't dang expensive.5
This perfume is long-lasting, but I do not like the smell of vanilla and so that ruined it for me. It just is not a good perfume match for me. Some of the reviews said the vanilla smell is not too strong, but I felt the opposite.1
I like the scent of vanilla, though not particularly fond of jasmine. I did enjoy this
fragrance. The lime made it interesting.
Smells AMAZING! I absolutely love it and don't want my sample to run out. It's entirely too expensive, but maybe someday I'll be able to splurge.5
Product had a not too overpowering scent, but it was not for me. A little spicy and sort of smoky, I didn't love it.1
