We fell in love with Atelier Cologne’s Vanille Insensée Cologne Absolue at first sniff. Unlike most vanilla scents, this one is fresh, not sweet. Top notes of bright lime and coriander mingle with middle notes of jasmine and oak moss, while Madagascar vanilla and amber notes anchor the scent. Happily, the romantic fragrance lasts all day — we’re smitten and you will be too.
This has a wonderful, light and vanilla wonderfulness. It's not really sweet and over powering like most banks ascend which is great4
I am a perfume hoarder... but I've never been fond of vanilla scented anything... until I got this in my box one month. This is the best vanilla scent I have ever experienced and it is truly an all day scent! just couple dabs on the wrist is all you need. It is so soft and beautiful. I just love it! I can't wait to buy it!5
I love vanilla scents and this is a perfect "office" scent. Light and clean, with none of the sticky candy taste some vanillas leave behind. The only drawback for me is perhaps too light and not very long lasting.4
I didn't like this scent because it was too sweet for me and personally I felt as though it smelled as though much older than me would wear this.2
If you like vanilla this is the scent for you. This would be great worn during the fall and winter days. It makes me think of warm sugar cookies.4
This smells okay, I can't really give a thorough review because I can't wear fragrance because of sensitivity issues and headaches.3
I found this scent to be just the right amount of vanilla. I even had a co-worker ask what I was wearing, which never happens! A bit pricey, but I would purchase.4
His fragrance is way too strong for me. I'm rarely a fan of Vanille scents and it doesn't quite work for me here. I gave it 2 stars because even though I dislike it very much, doesn't mean it's a bad product. It's just completely wrong for me2
I wasn't a big fan of this perfume. I think the fragrance is a little much and kind of sicky sweet3
I received this in my box in September and brought it with me on a work trip because I didn't want to risk bringing any of my regular perfume and having it break in my checked bag...
I wish I had not because then I wouldn't have to regularly talk myself out of dropping $120 on a perfume. The scent is definitely intense, but I never found it overpowering. I tend to prefer vanilla scents, but a lot of them can start to smell cakey and I don't actually want to smell like baked goods. It's just a lovely, warm inviting smell... I do wonder if I would like it as much in the summer. Something about it just feels like sweaters and a fireplace. It's definitely a mature vanilla.
