We fell in love with Atelier Cologne’s Vanille Insensée Cologne Absolue at first sniff. Unlike most vanilla scents, this one is fresh, not sweet. Top notes of bright lime and coriander mingle with middle notes of jasmine and oak moss, while Madagascar vanilla and amber notes anchor the scent. Happily, the romantic fragrance lasts all day — we’re smitten and you will be too.
Amazing scent, clean, not overpowering.
Might buy in the future to treat myself, it is a little pricey for me
I feel fairly middle of the road as far as this particular sent goes. I usually like the "darker" and less grandmas candle smelling vanilla perfumes but for me this seemed to leave something to be desired. I believe if I was hunting for more of a daytime sent this would be a great option however I'm not sold enough to switch from Dior addict which is my current date night sent (whereas I'm more of a Burberry Brit sort of person in the day). Overall not bad, but I'm not ready to make the switch, it was however boyfriend approved.3
I absolutely loved the smell of this perfume...wasn't too heavy at all, but it lasted throughout the day. I'm typically not a vanilla fan, but this one was great. Too expensive for me to purchase, but I'm still using the sample and loving it!4
Pros: nice scent, long lasting
Cons: expensive, already have a scent I love
This reminded me of the Burberry perfume I already own and I am not a huge fan of the scent. It is too strong.1
If you love vanilla this is the cologne for you! Its very sweet and sensual, I loved it! and its very long lasting as well. the sample size is TINY but a little goes a long way. And I loved the post card that came with the sample!5
This product smells wonderful! I would love it buy it but the price is a bit steep.4
I really liked the sample - the scent was very pleasant. I won't be purchasing it because of the price, but I appreciate getting to try something that expensive!5
This perfume smells okay. A little bit does go a LONG way though, so be careful. My husband said he really liked it, but I honestly didn't think it was much different than Bath and Body Works-Warm Vanilla Sugar. At $180 a bottle, I'll definitely pass.
I also wish the sample bottle had the sprayer because I had a hard time getting the little bottle open without getting the perfume all over my hands.
I really liked the smell of this, and I loved that it stayed with you. I just don't think I would buy this because it is very pricy.5
