We fell in love with Atelier Cologne’s Vanille Insensée Cologne Absolue at first sniff. Unlike most vanilla scents, this one is fresh, not sweet. Top notes of bright lime and coriander mingle with middle notes of jasmine and oak moss, while Madagascar vanilla and amber notes anchor the scent. Happily, the romantic fragrance lasts all day — we’re smitten and you will be too.
Not a fan. This is definitely not a high price point sample. And, you can email the company directly to request a fragrance sample, anyway. So, this has little value.1
Sorry to leave such a negative comment. I usually love every sample I receive or at least give something a few tries before giving it my "yay" or "nay;" however, as soon as I opened the vial of Atelier Cologne Vanille Insensée, I gagged and had to throw it away. I had to wash my hands and go to open air.
It is one of those very dry, sharp, piercing smells that sucks the air out of your throat. It is not at all pleasant.
Not a pleasant to wear. The fragrance does not have the vanilla, jasmine, or lime notes as stated in the box insert.1
This cologne is more for my mother. It was a bit strong for my liking. It did soften after an hour or so but the scent just wasn't for me.1
This perfume is not for me. I did not enjoy the scent, to me it smelled like an old lady and I received negative comments about the scent from others.1
I received this sample in my box and was very excited to try it, seeing as I had run out of my perfume at the time. I put a small amount on and it was so overpowering I tried scrubbing it off. Maybe it's just me not being a fan of the scent, but this was just not the right perfume for me.1
Smelled like a stripper and made me sick to my stomach. Just NOT the scent for me. I had to wash it off after wearing it for an hour because I hated it so much.1
Too musky for my liking, I prefer fruit and sweet scents, please!1
I am not a fan of vanilla. In perfume form I have found more than not it is to strong on me. I did try this though because there were notes of lime and coriander, I hoped that it would come out more than the vanilla. It didn't, I couldn't even smell those notes at all. I will be giving this sample to my Mom who is a big vanilla fan. I will say that it is a good product in the amount of time it lasts. It is not a perfume that you would have to apply multiple times a day.1
I prefer more subtle scents. Maybe Vanilla scents aren't for me.1
