We fell in love with Atelier Cologne’s Vanille Insensée Cologne Absolue at first sniff. Unlike most vanilla scents, this one is fresh, not sweet. Top notes of bright lime and coriander mingle with middle notes of jasmine and oak moss, while Madagascar vanilla and amber notes anchor the scent. Happily, the romantic fragrance lasts all day — we’re smitten and you will be too.
The scent lasted a very long time. In most cases that would be great, but I just did not care for the smell. Personal preference. Way too "vanilla-y" for me.1
This perfume was very strong and had a musky vanilla scent. I'm not a fan of most perfumes so it didn't surprise me that I wasn't a fan of this one either. The scent wasn't horrible, just not for me. Vanilla lovers will really like this if they are into the musky thing.1
Not a fan. I didn't like the smell. It reminded me of an old lady. I typically do not like perfume samples and this continues to confirm it.1
Cannot stand this scent & the packaging was poor design1
I am not a fan at all. It is a dense fragrance, reminds me of the dark alleys of Europe. It's strong and long lasting, but the heavy scent gives me a headache after a while. After one sniff, I cannot smell anything BUT the fragrance to the point of tasting it in my foods. Just a personal opinion.1
This has a very strong vanilla smell which instantly made me nauseous. I usually don't mind vanilla but this was too much.1
I did not care for this fragrance at all. It is too musky smelling.1
I really hated this scent - it was very musky to me. I don't change my scents often - I certainly wouldn't for this one.1
If you love the smell of vanilla, this is a good find. It isn't too strong and seems like it would last all day.1
I personally did not like this cologne. The scent was way too over powering. I barely had any on and it took over the whole room. Not for me.1
