We fell in love with Atelier Cologne’s Vanille Insensée Cologne Absolue at first sniff. Unlike most vanilla scents, this one is fresh, not sweet. Top notes of bright lime and coriander mingle with middle notes of jasmine and oak moss, while Madagascar vanilla and amber notes anchor the scent. Happily, the romantic fragrance lasts all day — we’re smitten and you will be too.
I hated this perfume. It smells like an granny perfume. I tried it, washed it off and threw it away.2
This is a nice smell and had some staying power but it was just not my taste. Expensive for a brand I've never heard of before.2
This perfume is very intensely sweet and vanilla scented. Slightly tangy. If you like vanilla, go for it, but it was not for me.2
This is a very, very light vanilla. The scent is almost like extract. I had to reapply, but I like to know that I am wearing perfume.2
This smell was great on my best friend, on me it smelled like I bathed in a vanilla milkshake :)2
I don't prefer a heavy perfume and this was a very musty musky smell. Too heavy for my taste.2
Generally, I am a fan Atelier purfumes, they are nice quality, but this scent is not for me. I hate anything vanilla scented, however, if you like vanilla, you'll probably like this perfume2
Being picky about my fragrances, this one did not fit the bill. I'm not a vanilla scent fan, and prefer light florals. To each his own!2
I'm just not a big fan of vanilla as a scent for perfume, which is my biggest problem with this scent. It's just not for me.2
Just like wearing Vanilla extract and didn't like the little stopper container either. Much rather spritz. Thought it evaporated too much like alcohol2
