Sometimes bar soap can get a bad rap, but today’s bars are anything but the skin-drying, pH level-altering soaps of yore. These moisturizing bars are filled with nourishing, good-for-you ingredients, and leave behind subtle scents inspired by the sights, sounds, and smells of Argentina.
This product had an unpleasant scent that wasn't flattering and left my skin looking and feeling dried out. I tossed it out.1
This is a lovely smelling soap. And this little guy is perfect for traveling or just carrying around in your purse. Doesn't dry your skin out!5
Often I'll only use a bar of soap for about half of it and then I get so tired of the sad, gross half bar hanging out in my shower that I'll just throw it away. But this was a delight and a pleasure to use until the very end. I took it on a trip to avoid carrying more liquids but the smell was so nice and the results so soft that I brought it home with me rather than throw the remainders out.4
I'm not a big fan of bar soap because it always feels like it's drying me out, or leaving something behind. This bar is so much better. Then adding its corresponding body butter to it, puts me in heaven.4
This made my skin feel and look radiant! I recommend to dry skin!5
I'm not huge fan of bar soap, however I wanted to give it a try due to the positive reviews. I just ran out of my Caldrea body wash so I needed something new to try. This soap smells heavenly. The packaging is so beautiful. I seriously didn't want to unwrap it. The soap itself lathers nicely. I live in the Midwest so dry skin is an issue all winter long no matter what soap or lotion I use. So I gave it a shot. While it felt nice going onto my skin the water rinsing the soap away left my skin feeling like leather. However after I got out of the shower and dried off I didn't feel dry at all. Actually my skin wasn't super soft but it wasn't dry and itchy either. I will use this until it's gone then find something new. For now though I like it. Although I think it may be more of a summer soap for my climate.4
Ayres soap has a nice light scent. Love that it moisturizes as well. I will definitely tell my friends about it.5
I don't typically go bar soaps as they usually dry me out or leave my skin with a feeling there is residue still on my skin. This was nice and didn't leave me worth feeling. The smell was nice too, not too strong.4
I will admit, I was apprehensive to use a bar of soap, since I am a shower gel user, but the scent of this soap compelled me to give it a try. The soap did not dry out my skin and I felt fresh and clean. I still enjoy my various shower gels, but this soap smells sensational, and I find myself drawn to it every morning.5
I loved the way this soap smelled - it was nice to switch from the normal soapy smell of other common soaps that I use. Didn't try me out too much, which is always an issue with many soaps.4
