Part dry shampoo and part texturizer, this ingenious spray both manages oil in unwashed hair and adds instant lift to clean, fresh strands. The result? A breezy, rough-and-tumble texture with a bit of hold to keep things in place—all without any parabens or scary chemicals.
It's Oribe, what more can I say? The smell is fantastic, and it's one of the best hair products I have ever purchased! Will definitely buy again!5
Yes, it is pricey, but in my opinion much better than other dry shampoos. I like that isn't colorless -- no powder residue!4
It does what it says, smells fresh and is lightweight. I don't know if the can I got was a dud though, it takes two fingers to push down the spray nozzle. Hard to control application amount.4
Kept meaning to come and purchase this after my sample ran out. I guess I waited too long. All that's available is the small size for not-so-great a value. But the product is great even on clean hair. I didn't even realize it was for Day 2 hair until I came online to review it! lol5
I use this at night after I have washed my hair to keep the volume from my blowdry to carry into the next morning! It works better than any other product I've tried and it does not irritate or dry out my scalp. I like that I do not have to go back and spray more when I wake up in the morning, as this save me lots of time!4
I carry this around more than I do a travel size hairspray. When my bangs get oily - I spray. When I need some volume at my roots - I spray. It also is easy to revive just by playing with it a little bit mid-day.5
even for short hair, this stuff is amazing! Gives my hair an instant lift and texturizes - basically gives you that "second day hair" without being greasy. Love the smell, too.
The hold is very good, lasted well throughout the day without any needs for touch ups.
Might repurchase, but it's just sooo expensive..
It has an odor. And it doesn't totally get rid of oily hair. There are other dry shampoos that work better. This is only good for a bit of extra volume that will last an hour or so.3
I have been on the hunt for a good dry shampoo, but one that would give my thick, medium-long hair some texture. I have used a couple of different brands, but they tend to leave residue and I have dark red hair and that does not work for me. Oribe's spray has been great. I have kept it in my purse and used it for touch-ups when I'm out and about in town. It has been especially helpful in giving the exact texture I need when I'm pulling my hair back into a messy bun or ponytail. Love this.5
I think I was expecting to be able to run my hands through my hair after using this spray; I couldn't.
But I did get loads of volume, but not where I wanted it. Which was probably user error.
I have tried putting my hair up in a loose bun, then spraying around it, and that seemed to give hold and volume to my waves. I do think the smaller bottle was a good starting point to try it and I'm glad I made the purchase.
