Whether you’re diehard about your highlights or you were an early adopter of the ombré trend, your color-treated locks needs some love. This potent shampoo goes beyond cleansing to deeply moisturize and restore, while preserving the integrity of your hair color. So you can maintain your current hue (whatever it may be).
After using this product for only a few days I had an allergic reaction. Hives all over my body. It took me a week to realize this was the problem. Once I stopped using I was fine. I really am wondering if anyone else that has sensitive skin has experienced this and what ingredient may. W responsible.1
I don't like over perfume-y hair products and this one is overwhelming. I need super moisture for my hair and this one just didn't deliever1
I don't like it. My hair doesn't seem to feel soft after using it. I hate the strong smell. I don't think I would recommend this product to anyone1
When I started losing hair with my shampooing, I took a look at the ingredients and sure enough, there was the Sodium Laureth Sulfate.
Expensive lesson to learn that not all at Birchbox is good for you, just more costly. I will have to dump what I have left and donate the rest to a homeless shelter.
This shampoo was not for me! It tangled my hair into a ball of knots! my hair felt dry and brittle! Definitely the wrong shampoo for me!1
I haven't been as excited with my BB, lately they's been sending the oddest items, maybe it's it and miss these last 3 months. This brand was not so impressing to me, I ended up just giving it to my sister in law, I wouldn't recommend it.1
Major bummer. I was so pumped for this shampoo because of not having parabens, it's amazing smell, and it's promise for color-treated hair. But low and behold one of the very first ingredients is sulfates which are HORRIBLE for color-treated hair!!!! They are the main ingredient that strips color right out. Also, the smell is so good in the bottle but it doesn't stick to your hair afterwards.1
I have already dry hair and I use redken normally for my hair and tried this one for a few uses and everytime I did I could tell how much of a difference it made and not for the better. Also it doesn't smell that good either, but it made my hair WORSE and didn't lock in any color. I would never purchase this myself, at least you can re-use the bottles for other things instead.1
I was initially excited to see this shampoo, and it smells amazing. However, it is NOT safe for color-treated hair. I dye my hair red, and my color tends to fade more quickly as is. Products like this certainly don't help in the fading department, and sulfates are terrible for color treated hair. So disappointed to see so-called "natural" products that contain harmful ingredients.1
Feels weird on your skin, I do not care for it at all. I am happy with what I currently use. My hair is very dry after using this.1
