Photoshop magic aside, the best cure for the blemish blues is a great foundation. For maximum coverage without heaviness or telltale caking, we turn to Dermablend™’s pro formula. Not only does it provide up to 16 hours of smudge-proof coverage, but the matte pigment hydrates skin without greasiness or shine. So kiss rosacea, age spots, and ill-timed pimples goodbye
I had to return, this did not cover my issues especially my rosacea. The color looked fake and it felt very heavy.1
This product is so bad I have several problems with it.
1. It is too thick, make up does not look natural at all.
2.At the end of the day coverage is splotchy. my pores and wrinkles are full of the foundation, but there is none on my skin.
3.The color chart does not correctly display the true colors of this foundation. I have tried twice and both colors are not a true color based on the display.
I didn't love this product. While it gave good coverage, it ended up looking cakey and dried my skin out more than others.2
I did not like the texture of this foundation at all. It is very thick and makes you look like you are wearing a heavy covering of foundation. If you really need to cover something on I guess this is for you but it is very difficult to achieve a natural look with this product.2
The color was a little off. But I tried it anyway so I could accurately rate the sample. I have been using the becca foundation and it is flawless. This base, was very heavy and it seemed to make my face overproduce oil. I loved the high spf. I gave it to my mom because she is a fan of more coverage foundations and she said the same thing. The color matched her well, but it just didn't mattify her skin well enough to be something she would continuously use. She said she kept having to apply powder throughout the day, and by the time she was ready to washed her face, she said it looked like a cakey mess. This product might be better suited for those with a less oily complexion. I know this brand is known for great products.2
I can imagine why some people might really like this, but it is just not what I'm looking for in a foundation. I normally wear something light-coverage/tinted moisturizer on my face so this felt: thick, matte, heavy, not blendable, drying and settled into fine lines.
If you are looking for something that is heavy coverage with a matte finish then you will probably love this but it's not for me.
Eek, I am not so much of a fan of this. The texture of it was nice and it is very creamy. However, it was too orange-y on me and it made me break out. I personally would not purchase for myself after using the sample.2
The sample in my box didn't match my skin tone at all, but the texture was nice - it felt good on my skin. If only the color had been a match!2
As you read this review, please keep in mind that I have really, really oily skin. I wanted to love this foundation but it just seems to make my face even more shiny! I have yet to find one that suppresses the shine better than the expensive department store brand that I keep returning to. I don't love paying department store prices, but have yet to find a less expensive foundation that can replace it.3
The color I purchased was off a little but the product itself is amazing. I have deep dark circles under my eyes and this blended perfectly!3
