We’ve been known to squirrel away a ChapStick® or two in every conceivable hiding place, so we’re never caught without. But there are times when we can’t easily reapply. (While skiing, for example, it’s much more important that our hands hold the poles.) That’s why we’re in love with this new innovation from ChapStick®. Clinically proven to hydrate lips, the eight-hour balm also comes packed with antioxidant CoQ10 and healing vitamin E. With just one swipe, our pout can withstand an entire day on the slopes (or at a desk, dreaming of said adventures).
This is one of the best lip balms I have used. I went out and stocked up on them after I ran out.5
Went on well , stayed on! Great for winter, kept lips soft and smooth, not thick and sticky, would buy again. Would recommend for outdoorsmen.4
this time of year is a pain in the butt when it comes to having healthy lips. my lips get significantly chapped when I don't use lip balm on a daily basis. I really like this product while I got to use it but my kids tend to take over my chap sticks before I get to actually use them. so glad I have my birchbox and get a new one every month.5
I found it lacking, but then again I am a chap stick SNOB. It was a bit too slick and I found myself having to re apply too often. Thanks but no thanks.2
This worked effectively to lock in moisture. I am a Burts Bees fan, but I think this did just as good, if not better.4
A classic staple for your purse. Definitely a great formula, refreshing without the strong scent or messy application. A product that works with sensitive and breakout prone skin.5
I liked this stuff a lot. Feels kind of heavy, but when my lips are really chapped in winter, I like something kind of heavy. Makes it feel like it lasts longer.5
This product is amazing! I have always loved chapstick brand and will continue to purchase! It glides on smooth and doesn't leave your lips in worse shape than when they started like other lip products will do.5
I loved this chapstick. It left my lips feeling soft and refreshed. I definitely would buy it once the trial runs out.5
Let me tell you a story.
I have a bad lip-licking habit. Because of this, I actively seek out lip balms that work well for me and give me the most moisture possible. I also have an unnatural obsession with vanilla (not quite to the level of my "demonic taco lust" as my husband calls it, but pretty up there). This little tube of lip balmy goodness felt like it had floated down here gently on silvery, sparkly angel wings, and landed there in a cardboard box with my name on it, just for me.
I went searching for more.
I checked every CVS, Walgreens, and even riteaid in sight. I checked Target and Walmart. I looked online, but soon came to grips with the fact that I just could not justify paying a shipping price for chapstick. It just was not going to happen, no matter how glorious.
Then I went on a mini-retreat with my coworkers in Southwest Florida. It was after midnight, and I realized I left my sleeping pills back at home in North Carolina. I could go find a substitute at a grocery or drug store, but I flew down there and didn't have a car. But ah ha! The coworker I was bunking with DID have a car, as luck would have it. I persuaded with her to let me borrow the car so that I could find sweet release from this crippling insomnia.
Tired, cranky, and on unfamiliar streets in a town I'd never been in before, I found a Walgreens that was only open because they had extended hours for Christmas shoppers (because you buy all your x-mas gifts at drugstores, right?). Wearily, I dragged myself into the store, and found the items I needed. As I was slowly shuffling out, I saw it...... . .
There it was.. just hanging there on a hook like it was nothing. Like this was just a normal, everyday occurrence. The ChapStick Hydration Lock with that slight, sweet vanilla taste and the moisturizing powerhouse of a formula I had been searching for.
"These South Floridians have no idea of the treasure they have here. They probably take this for granted while I hang out back in the mountains of North Carolina with the ice and snow and bears and chapped lips that go along with winter in non-tropical climates," I thought to myself.
I gathered half a dozen boxes off that tiny hook that night, and happily carried them to the counter with a spring in my step. The cashier remarked on how much I 'must love that product.' She has no idea. How could she.. blessed every day with that salty, temperate climate that doesn't make your lips crack and ache. I do love it.
I'm happy to report that now, two years later, I live in a tropical climate, myself. And my local Walgreens carries this specific ChapStick variety on the regular.
