Fun fact about fashion designer Cynthia Rowley: For years, whenever she wanted to wear bold eyeliner, she had to resort to using a Sharpie on her lids. Luckily, the style whiz has created an easier and far safer alternative: this smudgeproof liquid liner. The pen-style tip makes for ultraprecise application, whether you're stippling your bottom lash line or flicking to create the perfect cat eye. The resulting laser-like inky line is totally smudgeproof. And the signature gold motif will ensure that it never gets lost in your (seemingly bottomless) makeup bag.
I don't usually like a liquid liner but being that this one is pen-like so it works quite well.5
I got this in my box or else I probably wouldn't have bought due to having my personal favorite go to. I also received this in navy which I never use but who can't have enough makeup?! I tried it out and the color was alright but not very pigmented. More lite navy almost a failed color. It also wore off very quickly and I do not have oily lids so I generally don't have that problem. Overall it was okay. Maybe in the color black I would like it more.3
I like CR's pencil liners and wanted to give the liquid a try. Alas, I couldn't get it to put out enough liquid when I needed it. Sometimes too light, but sometimes too much. Dried kinda icky. I ended up tossing it and going with my go-to.1
the eyeliner looked nice after application but I found it hard to apply and it dried fast. didn't go smooth like I thought3
I am HUGE winged eyeliner fan and I love using a dark brown instead of black for a more day-time-ish look. This one was just not dark brown enough for me. I don't know if maybe the one I received was a little dried out before it came to me, but I just did not get the results I was hoping for. I really wanted to love it! The packaging is so gorgeous!3
I never wear eyeliner, but this product is unbelievable. I can now wear eyeliner and not poke my eye out! plus, this stays on all night.5
I have always envied those women who could weald an eyeliner as if it were a calligraphy pen. As for me it has always been more like one of those fat magic markers you used in kindergarten, just trying to draw a nice even line that followed the curve of my eyelid was hard enough, then the "Cat Eye" became the "In" thing and I thought "oh great as if raccoon eyes weren't bad enough, if I try to pull off this look I'm going to end up looking a prize fighter, and not the one who won the fight!" Then the makeup Gods sent us an angel named Cynthia Rowley and now perfection can be achieved by everyone, even me.5
This is the best liquid eyeliner! Especially for those who have issues drawing a decent line. Love this! Thank you Cynthia Rowley5
Beautiful way to draw very precise lines. The are very fine but I go over them to add more drama if I want, however, for my fair complexion, fines lines are often most appropriate.5
I was really excited to try this product because I had tried another one from this brand and I really liked it. The first few times I tried this eyeliner it worked out great. It creates clean and bold lines, well the first time. After the first few uses the tip of the eyeliner dried out completely. I haven't even had this eyeliner for more than two weeks and it's completely dry. What an absolute disappointment.1
