We love to get our hands dirty. But our faces? Well, this SUPERMUD Clearing Treatment is making us change our minds about that. That's because this tub of SUPERMUD actually is a super mud. It not only helps clear up all common skin woes (think: breakouts, discoloration, and even razor bumps and ingrown hair), but it also vacuum suctions your pores to help unclog them, leaving your skin to look healthy, radiant, and oh-so-fresh. Who knew mud could be so glam?
Got it to try when my acne was bad, but my face really didn't like it. Everywhere I put it was hot and red when I took it off, and burned badly when it was on. I tried it twice to see if maybe it was a fluke, but nope. Just as bad.2
I love face masks and I can guarantee that this will be one I keep restocking. It doesn't dry out my face and I love to use it when my face starts acting up. The jar is small but it can last me quite a few times if I don't layer it on too thick. A lot of reviewers use this as a spot treatment and I did too! It works and you don't need a lot. Worth the price!5
I do love a great face mask and this one is pretty cool. I use it twice a week and my pores are not clogged. If you like licorice then you'll love the smell, i personally do not, however it didn't ruin it for me, it was pretty light. When you first put it on it tingles a little. Once it drys you see all the oily patches of your pores, looks pretty gross, but your face feels great after wiping it away. Be aware, this will stain wash clothes. I have 2 that have permanant gray patches. I doubt I will purchase this again due to size, cost and what else it out there, but I do love to try new masks.4
This mask felt cool and refreshing before it dried on my face. Minor blemishes came to head a day after using this mask and my skin is clear.5
I have heard nothing but good reviews on this product and many more from the "glamglow" line. This is my second product purchase from them (one through here another at a local store) and they continue to amaze me. I am quite happy with this.5
I highly recommend this for anyone with oily skin who needs a deep clean once in a while. It doesn't irritate my skin or leave it dry. I do suggest to remove the mask with a washcloth and then wash with a gentle cleanser after.5
This face mask is literally the only mask that's ever cleared the blackheads on my nose. Definite must have in your beauty collection.5
WOW! This stuff is amazing!! After the first use I saw a huge difference. I've now been using every other day as an entire face mask for a month and the difference is amazing! I found 15 minutes is perfect (20 dried me out too much and 10 I didn't see as much of a difference) I use DCL balancing cleanser and on days I don't use this mask I use DCL resurfacing lotion at night.
My skin type I've always had combination skin but never problematic. Right before I turned 30 I started getting tiny clear bumps on my forehead and chin. After going to 2 dermatologists I used Atralin which made my skin incredibly worse and then tazorac which helped, but still had finicky skin. After consistently using this my skin is just about back to normal after 2 years of being frustrated! It's expensive but TOTALLY worth it!
Use it consistently as instructed and you will get results! The itchiness/ dryness is really only the first 3 minutes. You do not need a lot!5
I LOVE this mask - and I hate that I love it because it's so spendy. But it's well worth the money. I have cystic, hormonal acne that nothing seems to touch. The only thing that I can count on is this mask! I use it as a spot treatment for pimples that pop up and also as a full-face mask when I can feel a break out ramping up. It does tingle and it's a bit much at first - might make your eyes water. But if you stick with it I promise it will be worth it! Also really cool to see all the little vacuoles where it's sucking out extra oils - I use it as a guide for where to put spot treatments at night :)5
