Sure, classic beiges, pale pinks, and fire-engine reds are great polish go-to’s, but as we’ve grown up a little, we’ve realized that green is actually way more versatile than we originally thought. And this rich emerald lacquer with a touch of shimmer is the ultimate in sophistication and glamour. Consider us green polish converts—this luxe shade is definitely a beauty “do.”
This color comes out so intensely forest green - exactly as indicated. It's rich in color and doesn't require 1000 coats to get to the bottle shade. I painted two just to make sure it was even on my nails and it would last.
It's not the most durable polish I've ever used but it's very good. Birchbox is right that green is more versatile than you might think - it goes well with my skin tone and while it's certainly not neutral in the way that it blends into the background, it has a similar effect to dark red or black polish. It gives some interest without becoming a focal point.
I wouldn't have minded if it did.
I really like this polish. It is darker than I expected but still a really nice shade of green! Only needed one coat and it went on nicely.4
The color is great, and the formula is good (as all Deborah Lippmann polishes are), but I guess I was hoping to be wowed by the color. The color is OK, and I'm happy with my purchase, but the green is darker than I was hoping it would be. It looks almost black sometimes.4
Really wanted to love this nail polish but sadly turned out not to be as emerald green as I thought it would. Will be returning this as it's not pretty enough to justify the price.1
This is my first Deborah Lippmann nail polish, and I'm absolutely in love with it. The color is a beautiful green, and it's really long-lasting, especially when paired with Deborah Lippmann's base and top coats, which I recently purchased. The fact that this is a three-free brand is perfect -- I'll definitely be buying more!5
