This expertly formulated mousse gets us excited to channel the 80s and do it up big. And unlike certain styling practices of yore (uh, teasing, we’re looking at you), this one is actually good for your strands. Use this hair-strengthening mousse to build out a gorgeous, larger-than-life ‘do that’s soft to the touch and never, ever crunchy.
This is my second time purchasing this, although the first time was from another place (Birchbox is now my permanent hair hub ;)). I apply a golf ball sized amount to my roots/midsection of my hair, and then the light shine moisturizing cream to my ends (not sold on here in the light version, but the regular version). I blow dry and my hair is given lovely volume and it holds for most of the day! Which is a dream, as my hair is SO thin that no products usually keep it looking voluminous and fresh. Great product, truly love it for super fine hair.5
you can see the difference in your hand. search for videos online, its amazing the texture of this super mousse. Im getting ready to order my second bottle, i will never buy another mousse again. not to mention it really adds volume to my roots when i blow dry and i can use it through my whole hair for even more volume.5
Although it tends to be a little more pricey then what I would like to spend on a mousse, I am in love. All Oribe products smell great and this product doesn't fail to deliver. Gives me great hold and volume in my fine hair.5
I am guilty of blow drying my hair every morning so I have quite a few split ends. I switched to this from a drug store brand... so happy I did! I was concerned about the price but it is SO worth it not to frizz out by 2 pm!! This mousse gives great volume and to my otherwise flat hair, still allows it to be touchable and soft AND has a great scent, major plus!5
I was very excited to try this, but didn't find it to be any better than any drugstore brand I've used in the past. It does smell great, but I find the scent to be very faint. I can't even smell it once my hair is dry. I do like that my hair still feels very silky and smooth after using it, but don't feel like it really does anything in terms of adding volume or hold to my hair. This stuff is pretty outrageously expensive, and nothing about it justifies the price.3
Not any different than any other similar mousse product. Not worth the price. Expected more based on the description. Disappointed.3
I love this volumizing mousse. The scent is amazing and the product provides great volume for my fine hair. This is something that will be a favorite for a long time.4
I have very fine hair and have a hard time finding anything to give my hair body and not weigh it down. But this product does both. It gives me body and doesn't feel sticky or heavy.5
I was introduced to this mousse while getting a cut at a salon that uses primarily Oribe. I had never used this particular brand before, having been using mainly DevaCurl products previously. While it is NOT CG-friendly, for those curly-girls who occasionally straighten their hair, this mousse CANNOT be beat! It smells HEAVENLY, and it has amazing hold without feeling crusty and gross (which is why I shy away from mousses in general) AND gives loaaaads of volume. My thin hair normally looks even more limp when it's blown out, and this mousse definitely gives me (and my hair) LIFE.
I only say this is *almost* HG as it has silicones and is otherwise not CG, but it's still a must have for blowouts.
I really liked this mousse and when I ran out of my first bottle, I decided to try a highly rated drugstore brand for $7 instead. There was no comparison. Oribe gives much more volume and heft to my very fine hair, but doesn't make it greasy or weigh it down. It is work the price.4
