We’ve been trying to hunt down the perfect eye makeup remover for ages: some are too oily, while others sting our sensitive eyes. That’s why we couldn’t be happier about discovering this pH-balanced formula (read: it’s gentle) from a cult French brand. A day’s worth of mascara comes off no prob, and it’s suitable for even the most delicate skin.
I had waterproof and regular mascara on and I almost ripped my eyelashes trying to use this. Sad because I love this brand1
It does not work on water proof mascara. It just smeared it all over my eyes.
It did not dry out my skin.
But I was very unhappy with the results.
first of all, this comes in a much smaller bottle than what is pictured which is a little misleading, secondly, I wouldn't even consider this make up remover, it smeared my makeup all over my face, I looked like I had a black eye, and it made it impossible to wipe off, my face was burning red by the end of using this because I had to rub it so much and even then it still wouldn't remove my eye makeup, I eventually had to use another makeup remover because this stuff doesn't work at all1
Not a fan, really took a long time to remove mascara and I usually had to use something else to get the last of it off. The one thing it had going for it was, it was cool to the skin and it smelled nice1
This eye makeup remover is definitely gentle but i didn't find it to be very effective. It barely removes waterproof eye makeup, and it struggles to remove non-waterproof (regular) eye makeup. I wanted to love this product, but it is more of a hassle than I found it to be worth. It is probably best for someone who wears very, very little eye makeup.1
I bought this because most other eye makeup removers are not as gentle as I'd like. I tried this one with cotton balls, which are essentially the most gentle applicator possible, and it simply didn't remove my makeup - any of it. And it wasn't even long-wear makeup - it was regular, drugstore eyeshadow. I had to use a firmer applicator in order to make this product (which is basically glorified water) work, which was just as hard on my skin as a regular eye makeup remover.
I think the product itself actually works fine, but the scent was too chemical for me to use it more than a couple of times. I expected it to be a more natural product.1
This product would not take my make up off at all and I wasn't even wearing waterproof mascara! The only good thing about it was that it wasn't oily.1
this product does not work. period. it's gentle on the eyes only because it fails to actually do anything. i can remove more mascara by splashing water on my face.1
Mary Kay still has the best eye make up remover hands down. This stuff does not take off mascara well at all! You'd have to pull your lashes out first. No thanks.1
