What, pray tell, is a firm oil? In Bare Love Beauty’s parlance, a firm oil is a natural oil blend that’s been transformed into a thicker, more workable texture. In Birchbox terms, it’s your skin’s new BFF. Designed to banish the parched, tight-all-over feeling that plagues skin in the drier winter months, this multi-oil blend hydrates and revives your complexion. And thanks to special time-release OlioLove Technology, you’ll feel the results long after you’ve slathered it on.
Hated the texture. I wouldn't even give this to a friend so I just tossed it. Wished it was a better product1
I was really looking forward to trying this product. A "firm oil" for moisturizing dry skin sounded awesome. My skin is super dry due to the winter (and pregnancy), but this product really just made my skin shiny for a few minutes without any moisturizing effects. I had to reapply several times over the course of a two hour period, and still saw no relief. Do yourself a favor and don't spend money on this if you actually want to moisturize your skin.1
I'm not sure if my sample was ruined or what, but when I used the pump out shot a spurt of clear liquid goop. When I rubbed it into my skin it was very sticky and didn't blend well.1
I am not a fan of this product. It was greasy and made my skin so slippery feeling. I ended up just giving it to a friend.1
It's very oily and sticky and I really don't like it at all.1
Bare Love Body Luxury Body Fuel, Daily Recovery Treatment - not for me, very oily
I didn't care for the scent of this product at all. It also was too greasy for me. I'll stick with using lotion.1
I cannot believe how many great reviews this product has received! I have extremely dry skin and was excited to try a new lotion. This made my skin oily, it did not rub in. It had a strange smell. It is awful, I took a shower immediately after to wash it off. I will stick with my body butter.1
I don't care for the greasy product. This seems like an expensive petroleum jelly to me.
I felt like I was just rubbing oil right onto my skin. Not what I'm looking for in a moisturizer.1
