We like to dress according to our mood—sometimes we’re feeling a little glitz and glam, and other days, laidback is more our speed. From warm colors for fall to cool blues and metallics, Twistband’s specialty packs have a little something for everyone. Better yet, the snag-free, supersoft elastics keep hair secure without leaving ugly creases behind, and look as good on our wrists as they do in our ponytails.
I think these things are so cute but so ineffective. The elasticity sucks and it becomes really loose in my hair after a while.3
When I first got this in my Birchbox I didn't really expect anything out of it. How different can hair ties be anyway? But these are really great. They hold well and don't pull or snag my hair. They also don't leave creases in my hair and look way cuter than regular ponytail holders.5
While the color I got does not look good with my hair color (orange band and red hair), I have always wanted to try a twistband. While these are definitely cuter than a regular hairtie, I wish these had a better price.4
I like that this doesn't dent my hair a ton. I hate having my hair down when I sleep, but I dont want a dent, or a harsh ponytail in my hair. I like the idea, but the one I got was bright orange... when I pulled my hair up with it, because of the color and the tied end, I looked like I was 12... If it was in a neutral color, I'd be more pleased.4
I had seen these around everywhere, but had never bought any... I got a silver metallic one and I have had it either in my hair or on my wrist since I got it. I plan to purchase these so that I can always keep one on my wrist. It doesn't cut in, bite, leave dents in my skin. I haven't noticed whether or not it leaves dents in my hair, but I don't think it does. I just love that it fits on my wrist comfortably and I don't have to resort to lopping stuff around my fingers to I don't cut off circulation to my fingers. I'm really happy with this!5
i love twist bands they do not dent or crease my hair and they come in all kinds of cute patterns and colors to go with everything5
I own a lot of twistbands and prefer them to normal binders. For some reason, this particular sample was a really small band and wouldn't fit on my wrist (where I like to keep bands when not in use).4
I really like the pattern of my twist band, it's very cute. However, I like my hair to be tied back pretty tightly when I wear it up, and these just aren't strong enough for me. If you like to tie your hair back loosely, they are probably great!3
If you have a lot of hair like I do these are not for you. I could barely stretch it around my pony tail 2x and when I did it was too loose so my hair slid down and constantly had to be readjusted. Also, I'm not sure how they claim that these do not crease your hair because mine was creased for sure. Point is, don't expect miracles from this hair tie.3
I guess I'm the only person who isn't a huge fan of twistbands. Sure, they don't dent my hair, but I have thick hair and they usually end up falling out. If a band can't hold my hair in a simple bun I just don't consider it effective enough for me. It is a pretty silver color though.3
