Styling just became a cinch. Meet Miss Jessie’s® Leave-In Condish: The ultimate prep, this lightweight treatment fights frizz and moisturizes curls like a pro. Hair is left soft and free of oily buildup to weigh it down. We’ve def found the curly girl’s secret weapon.
I'm a big user of leave-in conditioner, but I found that this product wasn't my favorite. The scent and consistency was a bit too think and gluey for me.3
I recently moved from NYC to LA and it's been a struggle to keep my blonde hair moisturized in the desert. I was so excited to sample this product since I've spent a fortune on a bunch of full-size leave-ins that I haven't been happy with. Miss Jessie's is ok. Thankfully, it doesn't way my hair down. Plus, my hair is soft and my natural curls are enhanced. Unfortunately though, it hasn't tamed my frizz...and the smell is awful. Smells like soap. I'll keep using the sample over the next few days to see if I see a change, but probably won't buy.2
Usually, I'm not overwhelmed with products on the first day that I've tried them, but after using my sample of Miss Jessie's Leave-In Condish this morning...I have to say I'm really happy with it and I'll be purchasing it, soon.
I didn't change anything about my daily routine, other than adding Condish. The product left my hair softer, and more conditioned feeling than it usually is; but it also helped hold my curls and reduce frizz, which I always have a problem with. I can feel the product in my hair, though...it's a little heavy, but that could be because I wasn't certain how much use and it'll get better as I become more accustomed to using it.
I have curly hair and my first birchbox sample with Miss Jessie's perfect products was with a de-frizz curl booster, which was FANTASTIC! I love her products because they don't break my broke 20 something budget and for the curly headed girl, these actually WORK! My hair was left feeling super soft and keep the frizz tamed all day. It smells very powdery fresh like soap. The texture is not greasy or slimy which is also a plus!!5
This product is for people that have curly hair and I certainly do NOT have curly hair.1
I enjoyed trying this product, and it seemed to work well on my dry hair, but I purchased a few products from this brand and I am not satisfied. I don't think it washes out of my hair well and the smell can be a bit strong.4
The upside to this product is you don't need very much, even on my very thick hair. That's where the good points end. It's so thick it's really hard to disperse it evenly through your hair without disrupting your curl pattern. If you can manage that (good luck), then there is the smell. I can't describe it as anything other than chemical and old lady. Not good. It smells greasy and will not go away!!! Not worth using.2
This is the first Miss Jessie's product I've tried, but I'm sure it won't be the last. I have fine curly hair that gets frizzy in the humidity, and I live in a rainy climate. This conditioner makes my hair so soft and definitely helps cut down on frizziness. The smell takes a little getting used to...I didn't like it at first but it's grown on me. It does smell somewhat like hand lotion. With my first application, I learned that a little bit goes a long way. I used too much the first time and my hair was stringy and heavy feeling. A dime sized application 3-4 times a week seems to work well for me.5
Love everything from this brand. Was excited to try this product and was not dissapointed. Would probably be heqvy for fine hair but my big poofy mess loved it.5
Besides the Foil packaging (which I can't stand) Miss Jessie has a great line.. I used the Condsish on my little one, and her curls have not even dropped. It makes it so much easier to detangle , which means less fight for mommy.. :)4
