Leave it to Caudalie, the vinotherapie experts, to give ordinary lip balm a makeover. Shaped like a lipstick, this slanted balm is easy to apply and goes on clear, with a hint of shine. It contains grape-derived antioxidants to condition lips and heal chapped skin and is perfect for layering under your other lip products.
I was skeptical when purchasing this product for the first time, and I am glad that I was wrong! This is my new favorite lip product! It is the perfect consistency for me...not at all heavy, very moisturizing, very pleasantly fragrant! My lips feel alive and healthy!5
For years I have been looking for something to stop the incredible dryness of my lips. They are ALWAYS cracking and peeling no matter what time of year and no matter WHAT I have tried. I have tried lip scrubs, moisturizers, overdrinking water, Burt's Bees, "intensive" chapsticks... To no avail. BUT FINALLY I have found something.
I took a chance browsing through the Birchbox site and looking through reviews. Thanks to so many of you, I found my miracle product. My lips had split in the middle, and were peeling all day long. Applying this from 8pm to 12am every hour has almost COMPLETELY healed my lips! My lips haven't felt this NORMAL is years! They finally feel like lips to me!
This is SO worth the $10 and comes in beautiful packaging (and gives you a decent amount, as well). It smells and tastes like lemon cookies. And I will DEFINITELY not only be re-buying, but recommending this to EVERYONE I know!
First off, I love the scent of this lip conditioner. To me, it smells like lemon cupcakes. I like the texture, it is very soothing and not overly waxy like most drugstore chapsticks. However, for me it didn't really last like some other conditioners I've used in the past. Overall, I definitely recommend it.4
I've battled winter chapped, cracked, peeling lips all my life. Usually I get a break from slathering products on my lips in the summer months. Not this time. Shortly after the birth of my 2nd son in May, I noticed my lips weren't healing...for 3 MONTHS. There were parts that were actually starting to feel like leather. I have no idea what happened or if it was hormone related that started this issue but nothing I tried was making a dent in how bad my lips had gotten. My mother commented on my "shade of lipstick" matching my shirt one day. I wasn't wearing any.
So I went searching for a lip conditioner. I read some reviews on this one and decided that for $12 it must be worth it. After reading one review that said it worked in less than 24 hours, I was hopeful. But days went by and they weren't a whole lot better. I decided I would use up this entire tube of $12 lip conditioner cause it was too expensive to throw out. After about a week, I woke up one morning and my lips were normal! Leathery feeling - gone. Chapped, cracked, red - healed.
I'm so happy I found this! I just wish I had found it sooner.
This is a soothing lip balm, great moisturizing product! Great for dry lips, easy to apply, nice shape for the balm, more like a lipstick shape. A light refreshing scent.5
This lip balm is great. My lips feel soft and it helps chapped lips heal more quickly. Does not feel sticky and does not have a strong scent. Feels great and makes your lips feel amazing. Can wear under other lip products or alone. New favorite!5
This is my favorite lip balm, my new go-to. I love Caudalie. This is well worth the price, lasts a long time even with daily use several times a day.5
I love caudalie products and can't say enough good things about them. This lip balm is probably once of the best I've ever used. The only problem is I misplace my lip products a lot, so it tends to add up in price.5
Nothing special and certainly not worth the extra money. Upon receiving this conditioning balm, I noticed that it had a similar scent to something I've tried before. I can't remember what that product was, but nevertheless this chapstick may even dry my lips out more using it, than not.2
There are very few products that I ever replenish, but Caudalie's Lip Conditioner is at the top of the list. While it isn't nearly as good as it used to be before they reformulated it a couple of years ago, it's still the best I've found. It's not heavy but also not overly slippery, shiny or watery, and very nourishing.5
